I was referring back to real musical lines. Stormy Monday.
The Eagle flies on Friday (getting paid) & Saturday I go out to play.

Yes, I know.

So was I.

From my perspective, I can pretty much never hear "Stormy Monday" too many times, from any number of musicians.

Should I consider that to be a guilty pleasure?

Yes. I don’t understand the guilty pleasure of a band you said was crap & not to listen.
I don’t think this forum topic is one for me.

Identifying some songs as perhaps being a "guilty pleasure" does not mean that we should not listen to them.

Nobody here is saying that this music is crap. In fact, probably quite the opposite - there is something about various elements of these songs that tends to captivate.

Of course, some of the stuff that captivates might tend in a direction that you are unwilling or unable to appreciate, in which case you might be correct in surmising that this is not the thread for you.

sometimes the re-interpretation can shed new or different light on the soul of a song souping it up slimming it down or whatever

I actually like the guitar line. And of course there's Dale Bozzio, the uncredited Lady Gaga prototype.

Deadmau5 drives a Tesla Model S P85D. He got it really quickly because the person who ordered it died just before delivery.

My brother lives not too far from Newport, Oregon...he told me the other day about seeing David Ogden Stiers driving around in his top-of-the-line Tesla Roadster.

I pestered my brother to show me a picture of the car that David was driving and this is what he pulled up:

0 to 60 in less than four seconds...LOL..."and now I'm havin' fun, baby!"

LOL...no doubt, one of the fun aspects of your online presence is how difficult it is to detect your ethnicity, especially in light of the music you tend to post.

Those guys, Redlight King, most definitely rock...thanks.

Dance mashups.

Let's see, there's Bennie Goodman's "Sing, Sing, Sing":

And I totally dig the one based on the Mark Ronsen song "Uptown Funk":
