I watched "Logan" AKA "Wolverine" yesterday.

To save time and space, I'll use Trump vernacular to describe it.

Terrible. Sad. Disastrous. Loser. Not winning.

LOL.

Please, tell me it ain't so.

Well, no matter, it's pretty much inevitable that I'll have to sit through it at some point or other.

Well, I didn't really love any of his solo films. This one included. They had to retcon what they did with Deadpool in the first film, with extreme prejudice.

Spoiler Warning
the good news, I suppose, is now that I am dead :D and Logan is too, since this is supposed to be the future, they could still both be in other films. Also, it may or may not be the future of the current rebooted timeline. There's some rumors I/ProfX will appear in the next season of Legion, since, after all, I am Legion's father.

He was never my favorite X-Men character, but they've tried to make him central to all the films.

It looks like they're going to do the Dark Phoenix saga AGAIN for the next X-Men film ... they will hew closer to the comics, and will Jean survive? (she did but didn't ... it's complicated.)

Ah, that's too bad. I would like to see it but will wait.

Wow. I thought I was the only person on the planet who didn't care for the Wolverine character all that much. Icky personality and boring.

I don't hate the character. I just can't get why he has to be central in just about every film, plus deserved 3 solo films. Figures in the 2017 movie he and Xavier would be practically the last mutants left alive.

Wolverine is my favorite X-man, but that last film...

It was long, dark, boring, and depressing. Gone was the fun banter between the members of the team. Gone was fighting for the greater good. Here we have a brooding, angry shell of a man going on a last mission for money. And the violence...It's so cliche that every person who does a kindness to our hero ends up paying the ultimate price.

It was a disaster.

Seriously, how could Wolverine not be everybody's favorite X-man character?

When they start spoofing on you in other, totally unrelated films, you must be onto something, right, Huge Ackman?

LOL.

Some of us have a fondness for the leader of the team ... he even used to go out into the action with the rest before he wound up in a wheelchair.

I'm also finding the Legion character in the new TV series kind of fascinating ... not just due to the fact that he appears to be Xavier's son. ;)

Incidentally, there's going to be a new TV series on Fox in the Fall which appears to star some mutants who are part of the "XMCU" but aren't even sure if the X-Men still exist. (That much I can tell from the trailers.)

The future selves of Blink and Thunderbird are in Days of Future Past.

I thought it was the best movie of the Trilogy.
I was not surprised by the violence as it was rated R and I had watched the trailers.
I am not surprised that some would prefer a more prominent Prof X. I prefer Stewart but these timelines get confusing.

I was hoping for more Storm/Naze/Forge story line as one my favorite tunes in WoW is my Shaman Naze.
