Yes, PIP Stephen Hillenburg. :(

PIP means pee in peace. SpongeBob Squarepants would like that.

I had a Squarebob Spongepants alarm clock once. Here it is:

My daughter picked it out for me, that made it nicer. :)

Got to watch out for that subject line character cutoff, AP ... while there are many folks who enjoy Spongebob at age 5, I'm suspecting the show's creator lived longer than that. (I know in the story proper it says age 57; but your subject line says age 5.)

IMHO, Spongebob is a piece of pop culture worth respecting, the show's characters deal with what I think are some useful life lessons even for adults. IMHO, many animated series are not really for children, per se, the Simpsons is an obvious example. Spongebob is moreso kid-themed, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy an episode, even when kids were not in the room (to have that excuse for watching it).

So ... long story short, RIP Msr. Hillenburg.

I saw it too, I thought the cut off at 5 in the title was hilarious.

My guess would be that Stephen Hillenburg would have also been amused.

With a child at either side I've watched many an episode.

I've also watched all but all of those Thomas train series ellipsoids with my kids. At one point I even got to the point where I was kind of feeling a private crush for Emily.
