For those of us old enough to remember him, Laugh-In's Arte Johnson has passed away at 94. While not the star of the show, his many memorable characters helped make Laugh-In a hit TV show in the late 60s. Among his characters are the dirty old man, Tyrone F. Horneigh, who made misappropriate remarks to Ruth Buzzi on the park bench. Wolfgang, a former German storm trooper who would pop up and say "Verry Interesting." The man in the yellow raincoat riding a tricycle who constantly fall over.

For those not familiar with Arte Johnson, here are a couple of videos.

Henry Gibson was a real person not a character Artie played.

Gibson was also in The Blues Brothers. He was the Nazi.

I liked the falling off the trike gag Artie played.

I was kind of upset when they canceled that show. Not long after that I quit watching TV.
