Obviously not "everyone" loved her. Republicans hated her, ever since the 90s when she said she wouldn't stay home and bake cookies.
It's weird. You would think, sometimes, though, she was the most hated woman in America.
Gallup: Hillary Clinton Is America’s Most-Admired Woman for Record 20th Timehttp://www.cnsnews.com/blog/cnsnewscom- ... -20th-timeAnd that was in 2015 ... not ancient history.
I just always thought it was weird that in 2016 they mentioned how unpopular both her and Donald were ... however, Donald has never been a popular public figure, whereas at various points she was. Weird thing, she's always popular until she starts running for something. Then, people notice she's both ambitious and a woman, and the smear machine starts up again. (The two reasons).
Just another of those lame stream media overlooks, I suppose.
BTW, 16 million Democratic primary voters voted for her - of the D primary vote, she got 55% to Sanders' 43%, a 12 point gap. Bernie was not "cheated" out of winning the primaries. He lost fair and square, and don't take my word for it - he said so. So all this stuff about superdelegates cheating, DWS & DNC cheating - she still was a choice of a definite majority of D primary voters.
That might be a moment for people to hate on the party again, including its registered voters, but it is, what it is. Obviously, enough liked her (if not loved her) for her to get the nomination. My guess is, and I don't find this a wrong way of thinking, party voters like people who have been with the party and help other party members get elected more than people who suddenly join the party just to get a nomination.
