Dunno, I have a deepening feeling these "signs" are increasingly a form of trolling by the RW. They brag about this on reddit and 4chan.

BTW, I believe many of them do indeed believe in white power, but they're laughing their asses off, thinking they've trolled "the librul fake news media" into believing they're flashing white power hand-signs.

Second-guessing the meaning of gestures can be tough. Witness all the crap about the "quenelle". However, to find out what they actually believe, there's always the matter of what they've actually said on social media.

Not quite the same deniability there.

They way I see it, no sane person who believes in equality would flash that sign just to troll the opposition in a photo op with the fucking president. Since he worked with the reincarnation of Josef Goebbels, I'm willing to bet he meant "white power."
