I am like the 70 to 80 percent who rightfully think this President has fucked us and the country at the border. You are the 20 percent who can’t see the forest for the trees. Maybe one day you will begin to see what all these sanctuary mayors and governors are starting to figure out. Better late than never. Better late than never.

Cuz i'd like to think there's more than 20% of us floating around. In our forest it's a biodiverse ecosystem free from walls and barbed wire. In the larger picture the tree's grow much healthier there. :)

No walls in my forest. It’s the same forest. We just see things differently. Same trees. Same everything. Amazing how that works.

Of course they would ignore the ruling.

Abbott, AG Paxton respond to SCOTUS razor wire ruling

(NewsNation) — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott asserts the battle “is not over” following the Supreme Court’s ruling to allow Border Patrol agents to cut razor wire that Texas installed on the U.S.-Mexico border while a lawsuit over the wire continues.

“Texas’ razor wire is an effective deterrent to the illegal crossings Biden encourages. I will continue to defend Texas’ constitutional authority to secure the border and prevent the Biden admin from destroying our property,” said Abbott, who ordered the installment of the razor wire as part of his broader fight with the administration over immigration enforcement.

I wonder if Joe Memphis and Glenn favors Texas defying the Supreme Court?

It was a great victory for people like you who are in favor of President Biden's open border.

Of course not. Unlike you I defend and stand by Scotus decisions.
While you seem to think you know more than the 9 legal scholars on the court.

Now that I answered your question man up and answer one of mine.

Regardless of what is deemed legal in your personal opinion do you think that whst Fani Willis did in regards to hiring her boyfriend and paying him 675k was corrupt.

i'd say Fani's career is a bit shaky at the moment.

She did hand MAGA a gift that's for sure.

This thread isn’t about Willis. I’ll accept what a judge says about her and won’t attack the decision, like you just attacked what the Supreme Court did.

What should happen to Governor Abbot for defying the Court?

I’m all for diversity and all for inclusion. I think all that’s possible while following the law. I’m not for illegality. I’m not for people ignoring their oath of office. I’m not for a POTUS who willfully and purposely disregards duly passed laws just because he doesn’t like them.

It’s possible to be for diversity and inclusion and legal immigration all at the same time. They aren’t mutually exclusive no matter what the administration is selling.

[bold] i've seen that worded differently in he past. Each time i've gone off and tried to research what law Biden has broken, or what part of the constitution he's ignoring. So far i got nothing but this parole thing he's used more than any other president. Which doesn't sound like it's against the law either.

I guess we will see Brad. But if you do a little research you will also see that this reckless border policy is highly unpopular. I highly doubt any “parole” law you reference was meant to be used/abused to give closet asylum/amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. This from a President who was also told he could not forgive billions of dollars in student loan debt and then looked for ways to abuse the law to do it anyway. So if this is where you guys want to go with the path of office and the rule of law don’t bitch or complain when people turn that around and ignore the law themselves. They are just being pushed to it by a man who is ignoring his obligations to his country, his office and the law.

We now have a standoff going on at the Texas border. SCOTUS has ruled the Feds have the authority. So what now? They gonna arrest Abbott in his wheelchair? You want the Feds facing off against Texas law enforcement? You feel sooooo strongly about open borders that you support this President ignoring his duty and his oath to implement a policy that he could never get passed via legislation?

This Presidents reckless disregard for border security is not supported by a large majority of Americans. 70 to 80 percent if you believe the polls. He has basically said “fuck you” to border states and border communities. His policies are straining housing, medical, financial, educational resources in many states and cities where now even Democrats are starting to get vocal. Now the Texas governor has had enough. Is this the inclusivity you desired? How do you think Biden’s polling numbers will look if this keeps getting worse? Nothing is getting solved. The problem just festers. Biden’s problem.

Biden administration demands that the Texas attorney general give Border Patrol access to a park taken over by Texas

The Biden administration has demanded that Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton give federal border agents full access to a riverfront park in the border town of Eagle Pass, where state law enforcement officers have been arresting migrants who cross into the U.S., according to a copy of a letter obtained by NBC News.

In the letter, sent Tuesday, the chief lawyer for the Department of Homeland Security asked Paxton to clarify which parts of 47-acre Shelby Park remain accessible or inaccessible to the Border Patrol by Friday.

Unfounded accusations????

All anyone needs to do is open their eyes to what’s actually happening at the border and to the effects it is having on cities and states across the country. If you can overlook those things then I guess just about everything can be categorized as unfounded.

We have a process to change laws in this country. I have no problem with legal immigration. None whatsoever. I do have an issue with illegal immigration and an administration that took a policy that was working to a degree and deliberately and willfully making it much worse. Now you can tell yourself that Biden can’t do anything and it’s not his fault. I don’t buy it. The numbers don’t reflect it. But tell yourself whatever you choose. The vast majority of people in this country don’t agree with his performance on the border. And rightfully so. It’s his policy. He should own it. He should run on it. The people will decide.

This isn’t inclusive or diverse. Its reckless. Its negligent. It’s deliberate. It’s Biden. That’s where the buck stops or don’t we believe that anymore?

i perhaps misunderstood...
You feel sooooo strongly about open borders
Kinda sounded like that was leveled at me. Thing is i don't remember ever speaking to this...."open borders"....thing. Or giving an opinion on bussing humans north for that matter. i have tried to address some past and present policies that are.....how could it be said....Policies that are lacking decent humanity.

They're dying to get out and dying to get in. Something i wish the 70% 80% would ponder on occasion.

As I said, we have a process to change our laws. We should follow that. There is absolutely no excuse whatsoever for the clusterfuck of a border security policy this administration has foisted on this nation. None at all.

Thats not leveled at you personally. It’s leveled at the guy in the White House that is acting like a dictator implementing what he wants despite what the nation wants or the law.

So sorry here is the link to the question you must not have noticed. Because it is so unusual for you to avoid giving your opinion when asked.

That’s not the issue here. And I’ve told you this will be heard before the judge, and I’ll accept his decision.

Unlike you, that supports Texas going against our Supreme Court.
