When you're dealing with a Libertarian like Jeff Bezos there's bound to be trouble

Google and Amazon are punishing their own customers in a bitter feud

It shouldn’t have come to this

Amazon has just responded to Google’s decision to remove YouTube from all Fire TV products and the Echo Show. “Google is setting a disappointing precedent by selectively blocking customer access to an open website,” a spokesperson told The Verge by email. “We hope to resolve this with Google as soon as possible.” YouTube is being pulled from the Show effective immediately, and Fire TV owners will lose out on the popular, essential video streaming app on January 1st.

I tried to read that article however almost every statement talked about things I have no frame of reference for.

It was like trying to read Martian gobbledygook upside down. :|

Constantly shifting rivalries and alliances in the tech world. Each company has their own streaming product - Chromecast, FireTV - each wants to promote their own service - GooglePlay/Youtube Red, Amazon Prime - on their own device.

Likewise with Apple & Amazon - BTW, it was promised in September but now here in December :D - Amazon Prime is finally on the AppleTV. (But is iTunes on the Amazon Fire?)
