So we are comparing a polite conversation about trucks to a diversion with personal attacks, eh? Come on dude.
i dunno bout you but i'm tired of the circular firing squad Drak. We have to quit shooting at each other.
There is no circular firing squad, because there is no "we."
You guys have this idea that liberals must subordinate ourselves to conservatism, or else you'll start crying about "circular firing squad" and unity and civility and the rest of that trash.
Capitulation to the right wing to quell your personal comfort levels is never, EVER, going to happen.
Tell your cop friends to stop murdering our people. Then we won't have this problem.

How many times today on THIS BOARD was McAuliffe wrongly accused of supporting defunding police?
None.
What is being said is that defund the police is effectively being used against the party and the party failed to get out front of the problem when defund reared it’s ugly head. We all know the party doesn’t support defund. But it did nothing to defuse that problem.

Like “open borders,” like “CRT,” like “trans girls on the sports team,” “defund the police” is this year’s Willie Horton.
Don’t you find it odd? The people who are supposedly the world’s most intelligent still don’t get how easily you guys are manipulated, decade after decade.

Yes their white backlash agenda hasn’t budged in 50 years.

This from the guy who can’t figure out that no one said McAuliffe supported defund. Sorry the impact of defund is beyond your range of understanding.

Youngkin plays the 'defund the police' card against McAuliffe in Virginia governor race
In Virginia’s gubernatorial contest, Republican Glenn Youngkin is out with a new TV ad linking Democratic former Gov. Terry McAuliffe to “defund the police” advocates in his party.
The ad claims that "crime in Virginia is skyrocketing" and that "the murder rate is at a 20-year high."
“Former Gov. Terry McAuliffe is running again, but how can he keep us safe? His record as governor — murder jumped 43 percent, and now he refuses to even meet with Virginia police officers. Instead, he's touting endorsements by extreme left-wing groups that want to defund the police, abolish ICE and close prisons," the ad's narrator says, pointing to calls within the Democratic Party for a smattering of police reform running the gamut from slashing police funding to diverting it reform how police interact with people.

These guys are willing marks for people who are exploiting them.
They’re proud of falling for these wares. It’s part of their flimsy social identity. :problem:
Now that righty saw how well their lies about “defund” and who does and does not support it and “CRT” worked in VA you can see them already running to any and all conversations about them to double down on their lies.

They are desperate to keep the vestiges of their white supremacism intact.
The census clock is ticking. It explains both em the extremist violence and the immature behavior of these chumps around here.
It’s all they’ve got left. They’re going to get a LOT more violent.

Or, you can simply look at the past ten posts and pick out where this guy posted a pic of some truck.
And/or you can leave the Dumb Act at the door.
That was not just "some truck."
It was an abattoir steam waggon. A historical museum piece.
It was built by "The Sentinel Waggon Works (1920) Ltd, of Shrewsbury, England, in 1924, and imported through William Adams & Co of Melbourne. This truck spent the whole of its working life with Bird Bros Pty Ltd, Fertiliser Manufacturers of Alexandra, New South Wales, being used to collect bones and other animal by-products used in the manufacture of "blood & bone" fertiliser from abattoirs and butchers throughout the Sydney metropolitan area."

i still see no proof that Sam derailed this thread with personal attacks.
You guys derail threads all the time when no one posts in lockstep with your conservative comfort levels. This thread OTOH was never derailed, as you complained.
White conservative cowardly males unable to control and direct the conversation according to your narrow, myopic worldview…. :problem:
