What's the difference?

Post by Drak »

Between calling for and planning a murder, to calling for and planning a civil war? How is openly calling for a Civil War against the government and other citizens, any different when the end result is violence and murder? How is this protected by free speech?

We are seeing more and more open calls for violent Civil War by RW politicians, leaders and media heads. We are seeing this from Trump, MTG, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin, Rudy Giuliani, to name a few, MAGA voters, etc. And it's just ignored and normalized.

Mike Flynn is walking around holding massive Christo Fascist rallies, calling for the imprisonment and execution, sans trial, of political leaders and liberal citizens. How is calling for Biden and his family to be executed allowed to continue? How is this any different than calling for and planning to murder people?

Damned good question. But that's what our righties WANT, isn't it?

There is definitely a double standard regarding inflammatory speech/posts/whatever.

Lefties who advocated similar actions often got that 5 AM knock on the door.

I guess they should “reap the whirlwind” and be publicly shamed.

I’m all for an end to hateful rhetoric no matter the source. No more double standards.

Agreed, the law is the law, justice is supposed to be wearing that rag on her face, not selling holes in it to the biggest donors.

Then why do you VOTE for such people?

There are no Democratic politicians, media heads or TV personalities that I've seen, who are calling for civil war and annihilating Conservatives. We've seen this now with many conservative leaders and media heads, such as MTG, Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Paul Gosar, Scott Perry, Josh Hawely, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Jeanine Pirro, Alex Jones Sarah Palin, the list goes on and on. We constantly see people from the above groups as well as militia leaders also calling to execute Joe Biden.

There are no Democratic militia groups calling for civil war and the execution of Conservative leaders and there wasn't an attempt by Liberals to lay siege on the Capital and overturn a free and fair election. People on the left are NOT being radicalized into a cult of violence like MAGA is. That's simply not the case and if someone here is attempting to say so they are lying as per usual because they cannot deal in reality.

Mike Huckster is the latest RW lunatic voice claiming that if Trump is held accountable for his crimes the upcoming election will be decided by Civil war. By bullets instead of ballots.

“it is going to be the last American election that will be decided by ballots rather than bullets."

There’s video at link.

Again, how is openly calling for murder against the president and citizens legal? This isn’t freedom of speech.
