Sometimes we forget what other posters do or did for a living so perhaps it's a good time for us to update what we do or did.

I'm a retired AF Senior Master Sergeant (E-8) who retired on Jan 31, 2003 after 28 years of active duty service. My AF specialty was Medical Materiel (spelled with an "el" not an "al") or as I usually say Medical Suppl. My jobs encompassed everything from purchasing, receiving, warehousing, issuing/distribution, medical equipment management (ordering and accounting for in-use equipment), quality assurance, building/storing/deploying medical field packages, supervising/managing personnel, training, as well as performing management duties.

Since I retired, I've returned to league bowling after a 10-year hiatus, bicycling when the weather is nice and reading.

In the past I was involved in communications. I've worked for a number of tech companies in communications related roles (content building, website management). Last one as Communications Director. In my younger days I worked for an online gaming company as Managing Editor. Wasn't as fun as it sounds. I didn't get to play with the toys as much as others. Mostly dealing with PR, arranging events, meetings and product distribution. Prior to that, tech support for a local ISP. Prior to that? University.

Currently, I'm working with a business partner trying to get something off the ground.

Well, I ve done a little of everything in my 59 years.

I ve sold cars, owned a frozen custard stand, owned a 3 isle grocery store, worked in a machine shop, had 2 factory jobs, ran the 7th largest drug store in North or South Carolina, drove truck, taught trucking, been a trucking owner operator.

Which brings us to today where for about a month I am once again an owner operator after about a 12 year hiatus.

Next up I am not sure but, am looking forward to whatever it is. My bucket list dream job would be to own my own used car lot. something I had a chance to do back in 1979 but, chose to move to Houston to work in a machine shop instead. Life does have its regrets.

Which for you is like 300+ days a year, right?

Sounded like Spring break was no picnic, either.

Plunderer's resume is on the Internet, and he's the real deal. Dr. Plunderer. No, I'm not going to out him here.

This board has some very, very smart people, which is why I like it.

I worked most of my adult years in manufacturing, doing things such as machine operator in a wood products packing plant, to soldering and inspecting computer boards, to building athletic shoes at New Balance. I've also done retail and housekeeping in motels.

When a job I had for 5 years went to China and Mexico, I went back to school and got an Associates in education. I worked in both private and public schools, both full and part time.

Now I'm currently disabled and working on getting my health back at age 55.
