IF I ever want to drive a car again, it's my only shot. Meds alone aren't doing the job of keeping me seizure free.

I have a Neurologist appointment in January so I have that long to really make my mind up. Surgery would be set up for late spring early summer. that way my mom could com stay with me. I don't know if I'll need help or not. Wish the surgery could be done local but it can't. I'll have to go to Seattle. If it could be done here, they (mom/brother) could just stay in my apartment. But alas, Seattle is a motel, not gonna be cheap.

I've been on the bus and afoot long enough. I want back behind the wheel. I want my freedom to come/go as I wish back.

i know you've researched it, so do the risks outweigh the benefits?

Good luck, 'Zat. I know you are weighing the risks and I hope that you have full confidence in the entire medical group and especially the neurologist.
