The Southern Strategy is not a stereotype.

It was real, Nixon and his people wrote memos on it, and the thing is the GOP is STILL using it as a playbook today in 2021. In many ways it was a decision that's permeated a lot of our politics and culture ever since, the book "Nixonland" sort of deals with that theme.
