I am very thankful this year. It has turned out to be quite a year, and next year is going to be very interesting to say the least.

I am thankful for:

1. My decent health. I have problems but nothing I don't have under control. Not bad for almost 43.
2. As a corollary, three doctors who cared enough to help me with #1.
3. I'm thankful for my job, and thankful I didn't bolt for a job in Maryland or Pennsylvania, a job that might not have lasted as long as I have been with this company. Been at Badger for 14 years now. Hard to want to move with a steady job like that.
4. I am thankful that my mother is in pretty good health, though I wish my father were still with us (he passed away in February 2012)
5. But the biggest thing I have to be thankful for is a woman I've known since June of last year. 17 months is a long time, and, as such, I felt it was time to move forward. On November 9, 2013, I officially popped the question and we are engaged to be married in September 2014.

Well, OracleUsr: This is wonderful news! You have steady employment, your health is good, your mother's health is good and you've met the woman of your dreams. That's hard to top, so I won't try.
I can only hope that all of my RFL friends have much to be thankful for.
Sallie

Update, we just celebrated our second anniversary last month and our company is getting ready to implement a wholly new ERP system. Exciting times.
