Why do you guys keep defending the Carter presidency?
While he is a great man he was a horrible president
It was over twelve during the Nixon Presidency. But that’s okay, he was a Republican. Doesn’t count, right?

You keep bitching about inflation even though it’s dropped significantly. You keep bitching about inflation even though easing of inflation means raising interest rates. Interest rates under Reagan were astronomical, like way up there; they jacked up rates through the roof. But do you blame Reagan? No. You only ever blame Dems. It’s always some one else’s fault. Do you ever bring up the high inflation rates under Nixon and Ford? No. You don’t.

Guess what? Mortgage rates under Bush Senior were also high. So according to you, one term President Jimmy Carter is responsible for 10-12 years of high mortgage rates after he left office and Reagan and Bush Sr. bear no responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault. How fucking stupid are you? No wonder you’re all such easy marks for disinformation and bullshit. One of the many examples of why why no one here takes you seriously.

He also inherited all the issues that drove up interest rates, inflation and unemployment throughout his term.

Carter's major failures were in the PR department. Even I remember him as a pretty bad president, though I can't point to any particular misdeeds, unlike Goober's long list of same or drumpf's ever-increasing felony charges.

The Republicans still hold the high ground in this important aspect of post-modern politics. It's not what you do, as much as what the public thinks you're doing. The first word in Public Relations is still "public."

Presidents don't control the mortgage rates. That's a result of the Federal Reserve monetary policies. When the Fed looses the money supply mortgage rates go down and when they tighten then the rates go up. Simply as that.

So far all the evidence the republicans have against Hunter Biden is shown in this picture.

If there is real evidence against him then let it come out and act upon it either in Congress or in the justice system.

So why didn't you post that when drak made his comment about Reagan and mortgage rates.

Carter's major failure is he just wasn't prepared to ve president. He failed at every aspect of the job.
The Egypt/Isreal peace accord is his one and only success.
Everything else during his 4 years was an abject failure.

Bush II and Trump were far bigger failures.

Trump for sure but W Bush is close. They just screwed up in different ways. Unfortunately there wasn't a Reagan coming in after W to fix things.

Bush let us be attacked, started two stupid wars, and destroyed the economy before he left.

By ANY measure, Bush was far worse.

But there WAS Obama coming in after to fix things. And he did a great job.

W did not let us be attacked. But, your two stupid wars comments are hard to dispute.

Obama did a good job his last 2 to 3 years. But, his first two not so much. Our country would have been so much better off had he been VP under HRC for 2 terms.

But, because he was African American liberals voted for him over a better qualified HRC

Don’t forget destroying the economy. And since it happened on his watch, YES he let us be attacked. He paid the warnings of his predecessors no mind.

You mean Hillary, whom you said needed to be jailed for her email server?

It’s so damned funny, since you are pretty damned silent on how the Trump Administration handled security.

And Obama is the best President of this Century. And don’t forget that the historians rate him quite high too. I mention that because you put a great deal of stock in how historians rate Presidents.

So it’s Biden’s fault that one foreign country invaded another (Russia invading Ukraine) but it’s not W. Bush’s fault that America was attacked under his watch. Huh.

You know, claiming democrats abort late term pregnancies and abortions after birth is some pretty sinister shit. Glennfs is getting worse and worse. I think there’s something seriously wrong with him.

Several people on stage at the debate repeated the lie, and Glenn laps it all up. It’s all about the hatred, not the facts.

The goal is to vilify and dehumanize Democrats and whoever else opposes them. It's no different than what the Nazi's did to Jews, liberals, Socialists, minorities or religious organizations who opposed them. It's sets up the narrative that they must be jailed or executed because they are "evil."

None of the proposals that I have seen from the democratic party have said anything about certain conditions having to be met.

Now they all claim that to be true but in the bills they proposed not a word
