So do you disagree with the video or not?

Do you agree with Tuberville's hold on military promotions or do you hate our military like Tuberville does?

No I believe that Tuberville is over stepping his power. He is taking advantage of the rules and applying them in a manner they were never intended to be applied.

I believe that most of the senate and house rules were written and since adapted at a time when our lawmakers were genteel lady's and gentlemen who would abide by the spirit of the rules as opposed to the letter of the rules

The rules of the House and Senate are adopted every two years and most of them are just held over from the previous session. I'm thinking if the Democrats hold the Senate after the 2024 elections they'll make a change to prevent this from happening again.

I know but most of them are just carried over from senate to senate. With a few changes here and there.
Tuberville is technically breaking no rules. I bet the rule he is exploiting was put in for a specific reason by one party or the other and he is simply exploiting the rule in a manner that was never intended.

The Senate Majority leader should deal with this. If he needs to take Tuberville off all committees, than that's what he should do.

There are ways of dealing with this. Our military deserves better than this fuck-up.

Biden says US-Vietnam relations have evolved from the ‘bitter past’ of the Vietnam War

HANOI (AP) — President Joe Biden opened his first visit to Vietnam on Sunday saying the two nations have a chance to shape the Indo-Pacific for decades to come — evidence of how far the relationship has evolved from what Biden referred to as the “bitter past” of the Vietnam War that ended almost a half-century ago.

Vietnam is elevating relations with the U.S. to the level of a comprehensive strategic partner, Vietnam’s highest tier of international partnership.

Biden pays 68 billion to a terrorist nation for 5 hostages. Way to go Joe.
68 billion? Just making shit up as usual.

And he didn't pay anything. That wasn't taxpayer money at all.

I suppose you would rather he traded arms for hostages - arms that would be used to kill Americans, you know like your great hero Ronald Reagan did.

Or how he sold WMDs to terrorist nations. You're such a hypocrite.

He released sanctions that were in place for foreign banks on transferring frozen Iranian funds. The U.S. didn't "pay" Iran a dime. We just lifted SOME sanctions (not all).

I knew you would be ok with Biden giving a terrorist nation 6 billion. All because he is a Democrat.
As for your reference to Reagan yes he did put his political future and legacy in risk by opposing the democratic party's support of communists

Bottom line is a terrorist nation now has 6 billion they didn't have access to before.

Way to go Joe

Three times you changed $6 billion to 68 billion. The actual amount was 6 billion. Three times is not a typo, it's intentionally distorting things. And the point is that was frozen Iranian funds that were released. But sanctions have not been totally lifted (nor should they be as long as Iran tortures and imprisons its own dissidents, etc.)

Your views on Iran Contra are ... amusing, as usual, and I'll leave it at that.

It's hilarious how you say this is bad, while Reagan sold arms to terrorist nations that used them to kill more Americans, and you say that's good...

Wonder what Jared sold for the 3 Billion HE got.
