Crypto-nuts

Post by gounion »

[url=https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2021 ... -congress/[/url]:
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) proposed legislation Monday that would position Congress to lead on issues facing cryptocurrency by having Capitol Hill merchants accept digital currencies, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.

Cruz proposed the Adopting Cryptocurrency in Congress as an Exchange of Payment for Transactions (ACCEPT) resolution, which would instruct the Architect of the Capitol, the Secretary of the Senate, and the Cheif Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives to solicit and enter into contracts with food service and vending machine providers who accept cryptocurrency as a payment method. This legislation would also push congressional gift shops to accept digital currencies as payment.
Ted Cruz wants the USA to accept play money!

I would also point out that Brietbart obviously can't hire spellcheckers. "Cheif"????

The first thing you'd have to convince not only Congress but the average American is that cryptocurrency is actually money.
The second thing is you'd have to convince retailers and service providers cryptocurrency is real money.
The third thing is how many people are gullible enough to buy into cryptocurrency? I, for one, am not.

I don't believe I would go that far but imo crypto currency is a scam and is going to blow up in people's faces. I just hope our government doesn't bail those people who lose their asses out.
That and I don't see how it can be legal to me it is counterfeiting the US currency.

On second thought I guess I would go that far

If it blows up in people's faces then I won't shed any tears for them. They're gambling when it comes to cryptocurrency so if they win they'll be ahead and if they lose they'll try to convince politicians to pass a law allowing them to recover their losses at taxpayers expense or to allow them to write-off their losses on their taxes.

As for cryptocurrency is "counterfeiting the US currency" I disagree. They've created their own currency that's not representing US currency. They're not printing or distributing monetary instruments that resembles US currency.

Some people are quite gullible.

For instance, can you believe there are idiots out there that believe that Social Security is a Ponzi scheme?

Or that CRT exists? Apparently it is a big reason we are losing in VA.

The reason it is easy to believe something that is not true nor even exists, is if it feeds your racism, it must be true.
I sigh in your general direction.

It is the most successful ponzi scheme ever. Ponzi schemes never fail as long as there is enough money coming in to cover the money going out.
Which is why SSI is raising rates and amounts of income to be taxed on a regular basis. Also raising minimum wage also helps keep the ponzi scheme afloat.

The reason Democrats lost Virginia is because voters rejected the liberalism of the current administration and leadership of the democratic party

Actual Ponzi schemes break down quickly. This is no Ponzi scheme. It’s what will allow you to retire when the time comes. That and Medicare, as well as the ObamaCare you rely on now. Thank you Democrats.

If it were up to Reagan, you would have Medicare when you reach 65.

McAuliffe’s arrogance played a part. Defund, Borders, and Inflation also contributed.

All the voters rejected us, huh? Then why wasn’t the vote 100 percent to zero?

The conservative owned MSM pushed for a Trumper Youngkin win for the last several months. I followed the various networks. The GOP ran on nothing but fear again, and it worked.

Does anybody really believe Glenn voted for Joe Biden? Or that he didn't vote for Trump?

One thing is for sure: He has always complained about Joe Biden, and says he’s got dementia. Before the first debate with Trump, Glenn said he wouldn’t be able to put a sentence together.

He certainly complains about Biden far more than he ever complained about Trump. He usually defends Trump.

He never voted for Joe Biden. Same as when he pretended to vote for Hillary Clinton, then did nothing but trash talk her. And he's an easy mark for projection ops, which the GOP runs constantly.

Biden 25 years ago wasn't that bright. Today he definitely is in mental decline. Whether it is dementia or just a normal digression for a man his age I don't know.
But to deny that is just being partisan. They keep him on a short leash for a reason. He takes notes to press conferences for a reason. He has a prepared list of who to call and in what order for a reason. He nods off for a reason.

Thst reason being is he is to damn old to be president and is in mental decline. Saying all that I will say this arr we better off with him than with trump....you betcha.

No one is keeping him on a leash. That’s just your imagination, just like Biden having dementia was.

And as for him never being bright - recall you voted for GW Bush.

Twice.

Maybe you shouldn’t be the one sitting in judgement.

No I voted for both HRC and Biden. In regards to HRC I personally believe she would have made a very good president. Because she is one mean ass (rhymes with witch)
And in my opinion that is what is needed to be a good president in most cases. A mean streak 1 mile wide and 2 miles long.
As for Biden just because I voted for him doesn't mean I have to kiss his ass. He is an old and feeble oldman who is in way over his head.
Notice the most praise he gets from people here is he is better than trump. Which speaks volumes to the poor job he is doing as president

No you didn't. And he's not an old feeble man in way over his head doing a poor job, you're just parroting your Fox News heroes like Tucker Carlson.

No, Glenn, he doesn’t. He wouldn’t be nothing without his dad. Biden never had Bush’s golden spoon. Bush was a failed businessman and former drug addict who got everything handed to him.

But he was a Republican so you lionize him. You’d hate his guts if he had a (D) after his name.

Glenn is simple and easily targeted with projection ops. It's very easy to see what the GOP and media is doing regarding Joe Biden. They want him to fail

Here are examples of classic projection ops the GOP has run over the last few years.

Trump has a deep history of sexual assault and deep connections to Jeff Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. When Trump starts to run for office, we see the birth of QAnon, who claim Trump and his family are defenders against human Trafficking and pedophilia. That they will bring down the "Hollywood elite" pedophile rings.

Then, when Joe Biden announces he's running, we start seeing ops that he's a pedophile and a sexual assaulter. This is someone who has been vetted for decades, and his known on the Hill as one of the nicest, most stand up guys around. And then some rando comes out the woodwork claiming Biden sexually assaulted her. A woman who has a shady history of false accusations, who goes under many different alias', who appears on Russia State TV, whos story keeps changing, and who has a thing for Vladmir Putin. And Glenn believes her.

And we also get the "Joe Biden has Dementia!" op, trying to deflect away from the fact that Donald Trump was in noticeable cognitive decline since he stepped into the WH. And of course, Glenn buys it.
