Introspection? That should take all of 5 seconds.

I don't think Boyle's act is aimed just at Trump.

Bear in mind there is no rule, no law, for presidential candidates to provide their health records - just as there is no rule to provide their taxes.

It's more of a tradition, a norm, rather than a law.

Boyle is just trying to make it a rule.

Of course, because it's not a real rule, you can also go to some quack who will write a report that says your health is "the bestest ever". Boyle is also trying to set some standards.

BTW, Sam, I liked your gag reel. Of course, what it reminded me of is the scene from Stripes where Bill Murray and Harold Ramis are being "psychologically examined" for entering the Army, and are basically more or less asked that same question. Their answer is also funny.

I salute you X:

No Time for Sergeants might have some small influence on the screenplay writers of Stripes. :)

He was for it before he was against it then he was for it :?

Trump's FISA tweets throw Washington into chaos
http://www.cnn.com/2018/01/11/politics/ ... index.html

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump's sunrise tweet casting aspersions on the domestic surveillance program his own intelligence officials have called essential set off a thunderclap of concern in Washington -- and underscored the pitfalls of the President's morning television tweet-alongs.

Phones at the White House began ringing almost immediately after Trump wrote at 7:33 a.m. ET that the FISA program up for reauthorization in the House on Thursday may have been used to "badly surveil" his campaign.

On the blinking lines: Republican lawmakers and top intelligence officials perplexed that Trump had appeared to contradict more than a week of public statements from the administration in support of the reauthorization, which allows the government to conduct warrantless spying on US soil.

Ultimately, the measure passed handily. But not until after a 101-minute long scramble to clean up the President's position ahead of the midday vote, which Republican leaders had been eying with optimism after spending weeks rounding up votes and batting down demands from the conservative and libertarian elements of their conference.

"(Chief of staff John) Kelly's phone was ringing off the hook," said one senior Republican official close to intelligence matters on Capitol Hill.

[snip][end]

STOP ME BEFORE MY OWN POLICIES PASS AGAIN!!!!! :rw)  :rw)

P.S. I don't agree with the NSA program of warrantless wiretapping either, I'm merely pointing out how fun it is to watch Trump argue with himself.

Trump claims he's not going to London because the embassy building is a bad deal for the country and he blames it on Obama, again. Turns out it the decision and location for the new embassy was made by Bush 43. The old embassy was deemed to be vulnerable to terrorist attacks so a new location was needed. The U.S. sold property in England (who knew we the U.S. owned property in England) to finance the $1.2 billion embassy so no new money was necessary. So what is the bad deal Trump speaks of? It's the fact the British don't like him any more than Americans like him and if he showed up to dedicate the embassy there would be a massive demonstrations and possibly riots.

Fortunately, for the doctor, that isn't necessary anymore. A simple blood test is all that is required. For the last couple of years, my doctor at the Navy clinic has used the blood test method over the finger probe because the results are as accurate or more accurate than the finger test. He briefed me on the procedure and said he could do either so I chose the blood test for both our benefits. I doubt doctors get much pleasure in doing that procedures.

It would be funny if the doctor did the finger test on Trump. The doctor should should have an exam glove filed with water in a drawer. When it's time for the "exam" when Trump bends over and the doctor puts exam glove with water on Trump's shoulder, his finger in Trump's "shithole" (his arse, not his mouth), and then his other (real) hand on the exam table and watch Trump freak-out. :rw)

with gropers diet and size id bet any Dr would stick a finger in there to see what kind of build up is there.
they'd do it for horses.

blood tests are fine, and costly billings, and there is nothing better than feeling the surface of the skin
in that deep interior area. of course...he is 71 so if he dies cuz his shit is blocked up to his throat meh no worries.

The blood test is so much better than a finger wave. I get my PSA? measured every year and as long as it is consistent that is all you need.

However at Christmas Howard had "Prostrate Karaoke" with Dr Fish. Where staffers sang while getting probed. He used some device that weighs and films the prostrate which if you have a family history of cancer is probably the best way to go.

I continue to post things here that show 45 is "unfit for office", however, in this case, ethically, rather than psychologically.

Foreign governments, candidates, trade groups spent at Trump properties: report
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa- ... ce=twitter

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Sixty-four trade groups, foreign governments, Republican candidates and others stayed at or held events at properties linked to U.S. President Donald Trump during Trump’s first year in office, a political watchdog group said in a report released on Tuesday.

The arrangements represented “unprecedented conflicts of interest” because Trump oversees the federal government and has not divested from properties he owns or that carry his name, Public Citizen, a nonpartisan group, said in the report.

[snip]

Representatives of four foreign governments - Kuwait, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey - held events at the Trump International Hotel in Washington, the report said. That hotel, just blocks from the White House, was the most popular Trump property, accounting for more than half the 64 events.

Public Citizen has joined 17 Democratic lawmakers in suing the U.S. General Services Administration for documents regarding the Trump Organization’s 2013 lease of the property from the U.S. government.

FEC records, which require disclosing campaign expenditures over $100, show that 24 groups backing candidates for Congress held events, most of them fundraisers, at Trump properties. All, like the U.S. president, were Republicans.

Also holding events at Trump properties were oil and mining interests, representatives of the vaping industry and a college football team, the report said. It did not cite a figure for the combined spending of the 64 groups at Trump properties.

[snip][end]

Grounds for impeachment under the Emoluments Clause.

Yes...absolutely grounds for impeachment and has been since January 20, 2017. Of course Joe will tell us we're hasty and overstepping.

But I need to add that IMHCO, in the end it's all psychological. Because his ethics and his incompetence, reflect his psychological aversion to exposing himself to, and then internalizing and adopting anything he might have learned about ethics or how to make himself competent at anything besides buttfucking people foolish enough to enter into a contractual business agreement with him.

I haven't told you anything of the kind. I have told you that your own party isn't listening to you. You blame it all on the Republicans and ignore that the last articles of impeachment got 58 votes in the House. How many members of the Democratic Party are there in the House? How many of them didn't vote for impeachment? You can rant and rave all you want Ike. Just don't put words in my mouth.

They're listening, or at least some are, but with no reasonable chance of success they're also covering their electoral butts.

What would make this a more effective case against him is to compare the number of these types of groups stayed or held meetings from 2011 - 2015, before Trump became a candidate, to the number in 2017. If the number held in 2017 is higher, it would indicate an attempt to influence him as well as his profiteering from his office.

btw, he didnt "appeared" to...he did.

Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician, also took the blame for an incident in December in which Trump appeared to slur his words.
Jackson suggested that Trump had slurred his words because he had a dry mouth. “I had given the president some medication, specifically some sudafed over the days previous and dried up his secretions more than I intended to.”

That's not the way it works Ike. You don't get to assign positions to me that I have not taken. They aren't words in my mouth Ike. They are words in yours. And I don't give a shit whether you reconsider or not. This isn't a negotiation and you just ain't that big a deal.
