For a person who claims his properties are the greatest and that he only hires the best people you couldn't tell that by what inspectors found at his Mar-aa-Lago resort on November 8th.

These are just some of the violations found:
Lack of smoke detectors capable of alerting the hearing impaired.
Slabs of concrete missing from a staircase, exposing rebar that could cause someone to fall.
Failure to track freshness of potentially hazardous foods.
Curry dated Oct. 21 pulled from a freezer and improperly marked.
Milk stored at 49 degrees instead of 41 degrees.
Cases of hot dogs stored on the walk-in freezer floor.

Quote:
On November 8th, the so-called “Winter White House” was cited for “the lack of smoke detectors capable of alerting the hearing impaired through flashing bright lights; and slabs of concrete missing from a staircase, exposing steel rebar that could cause someone to fall.”

There were also food-safety violations discovered.

“The November inspections of the club’s two main kitchens, meanwhile, yielded a total 15 violations,” the Miami Herald reported. “Among the no-nos was the staff’s failure to track the freshness of potentially hazardous foods, including curry sauce dated Oct. 21 pulled from a freezer and improperly marked, milk stored at 49 degrees instead of the safe temperature of 41 degrees, and cases of hot dogs stored on the ground of the walk-in freezer.”

This was the second time Trump’s club has been cited during his presidency.

In February 2017, “inspectors found sushi fish ready for consumption without the obligatory treatment for parasites and cited the club for storing food in two broken down coolers at temperatures that spoiled fresh ingredients,” the Miami Herald reminded.
Raw Story

Sounds like Mar-a-Lago really is a shithole resort.

That's Donald ... like many of his hotels and resorts, he thinks a lot of glitz and gold turn shitholes into sunday finest.

A lot of local restaurants and clubs are nailed for violations like these ... of course, they don't charge $200K a pop for members.

Meanwhile, he rants about Haitians and other immigrants, who does most of the work at Mar-a-Lago?

The restaurants are not only regularly in violation of ordinances...but the obscenely high priced food is crap. Donald buries his delmonico in ketchup for christ's sake. You think anybody in the kitchen is going to argue with Donald when he tells them how something oughta taste?

PS - the reason why he eats McDonald's so often is he feels safe that he's not gonna be poisoned. He will just eventually die of all the plaque in his arteries that the physician who doesn't know how to spell his own name can't see.

Yes, what's up with that?

And Mar-A-Lago IS a shithole. Maybe it'll at least kill off some rich gangsters.

I'm not defending Trump for using ketchup but I've been known to use ketchup on steak. Normally, I'll use HP Sauce or A1 Sauce on a good steak and ketchup on the lesser cuts of steak.

As for the idea of getting poisoned, that's an irrational fear manifesting itself. Of course, with all his shady business dealings, who knows.

I can tell you this much and GoU can confirm. Long before any of you started hating on Trump I stayed in a Suite at Trump's AC Casino. I was with a friend who won the lotto and was a high roller. We had stayed in luxury joints in Vegas and other places. Trump's Casino was a dump and the luxury suite was even a bigger dump. The furnishings were both old and cheap the casino floor was crappy the entire place was a major shit hole.

The point isn't that Donald slather's his Delmonico's with ketchup. The point is that when he decides that the Delmonico you pay $125 for at the big restaurant at Mar-A-Lago should taste the way he likes it, then it tastes the way he likes it.

This reminds me of a story...it's about the old Dunning Mental Health Center on the northwest side of Chicago. Back in the 1940's when the area was still mostly farmland. So this farmer has a load of horseshit in the back of his pickup truck sitting at a stop light. And a Dunning resident on the other side of the fence holler's over, "Hey, what's in the truck?" The farmer says, "Horseshit...we put it on the strawberries." "Interesting" says the resident, "In here we put cream on the strawberries."

I apologize in advance for going slightly off topic. What is it with military lifers and ketchup? I have trained dozens of men who spent 15+ year in the service and to a man they put ketchup on just about everything.

Now I understand your point. I guess Trump really likes to control everything, including his customers.

Sorry to disappoint you but I wasn't a "lifer," but a "career" member. Big difference.

Ketchup is a cheap condiment and goes with just about everything. One thing I noticed when we ate MREs is everyone would use the small bottle Tabassco sauce that came with the MRE on their food.

This year will mark my 14th year living along (about six blocks) from the ocean and I haven't experienced and of those. Molds and fungi can occur almost anywhere where the humidity is high. I notice during my tours in Germany the Germans would open their windows a couple of times in the winter to air out their homes. I asked my German neighbors about this and they said it was to stop mold.

The only sand fleas I notice are in the sand on the beach. Our property is sprayed for pests monthly so fleas aren't a problem.

Jeanine Pirro on Mar-a-Lago: ‘Sure ain't no s---hole’
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing- ... o-shithole

Hundreds of supporters of President Trump gathered at his Mar-a-Lago estate Thursday night to celebrate his first year in office.

BuzzFeed News attended the “Red, White, and Blue Celebration” at Trump’s Florida property, an event hosted by the leaders of the “Trumpettes,” a group of wealthy socialites that drummed up support for Trump from female voters during the 2016 election.

Among the speakers at the event was Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, a major supporter and surrogate for Trump, BuzzFeed reported.

"Welcome to Mar-a-Lago, a magnificent place. It sure ain't no shithole,” Pirro said, referring to Trump’s comments on African countries.

[snip]

Trump did not attend the event, as he will not arrive at Mar-a-Lago until Friday evening, but cardboard cutouts of him and first lady Melania Trump were present at the event. (*)

[snip]

Attendees at the event told BuzzFeed that they didn’t believe the claims of racism against Trump, with one supporter saying, "I tell you, shithole is going to be the new word."

Trump is set to arrive at the estate on Friday as the Congress appears to be headed toward a government shutdown.

He will mark the first anniversary of his inauguration with a party at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night, where couples paid at least $100,000 for dinner and a photo op with Trump. Others could pay $250,000 to sit in on a roundtable with Trump.

[snip][end]

OK Judge Pirro. Whatever you say. You know, when something's slathered in glitz and gold, but is rotten to the core -- (see: multiple code violations) -- it's still a shithole.

When your gold leaf covered aperitif plate gives you food poisoning, make sure the hospital room you're in is well decked out.

Shithole will be the new word -- because it's what Trump is turning this country into. (Even if large parts of it weren't already there, see: Shannon County SD, Detroit, St. Louis, etc.)

(*) Just like Trump University! :rw)

Trump is not even going to show up on Friday, I saw a report he's canceled that trip.

I hope he's not canceled his trip to Pennsylvania to campaign for our person running in a special election there, but it most likely does mean that because that was most likely just a side stop along the way to Mar-a-Lago.

On edit: I thought I would check that and his campaign stop was yesterday, not today, and it did happen. :)

http://www.mcall.com/news/nationworld/p ... story.html

That sure was nice of him taking time from his busy day of watching Fox TV to campaign for our guy that way.

I understand some of the PA candidate's campaign people weren't thrilled about the presidential visit. This presidential toxicity starts to remind me of bush after Katrina.

Hope you've seen the New Yorker cover with drumpf in a hole. They didn't call it a shithole, since they're not the Daily News, but that was the strong inference.
