He says Roger Stone is his mentor and friend.

He told Ari Melber he's really more concerned about protecting Stone and Bannon than he is Trump. in fact, he said, during the campaign, he "betrayed" him and Stone.

It is all a very strange performance he's doing, but those two statements ... tell me a lot.

EDIT: Breaking News on the MSNBC Chiron: he went from saying he would defy Mueller, to now saying he will cooperate.

This guy's really good buddies with Roger Stone. He went on practically every media outlet today with his antics. I dunno, I smell something fishy, like it's some sort of game concocted with Stone to distract, create chaos, or somehow undermine the investigation. I dunno call me paranoid.

There's another story that broke today that Trump was going to select Romney as SS and was told by Russia to select Tillerson.

About that Sam Nunburg, first a photo of him:

I think seeing his photo will help explain what comes next.

He's done a 180 just like that, now he say he's going to cooperate. I expect Mueller's assistant's assistant called him up on the phone and said BOO!

The New York Times says this:

"On air, Mr. Nunberg denigrated Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the White House press secretary, as a “slob.” Twitter cataloged his insults, mesmerized by his repeat performances. One CNN host asked him if he had been drinking."

Either there is a method to his madness or he is just scared shitless.

Jesus...look at this fucking guy. You can tell just from the look of him that he's the sort of pathetic, and yet arrogant, schmuck who would have rightly received multiple daily extreme wedgies (if not worse) while walking down the hallway between classes at my high school in Chicago. Although he's spot on about Sarah Sanders but as we used to say in high school, "takes one to know one." (The adolescent high school version of 12 step "you spot it you got it.)

Dunno, I have no idea what happened. This guy on "all the shows" seemed to keep muttering and laughing "Mueller's not going to arrest me for contempt of court".

My guess is he got a nice little message from the grand jury. Voicemail? Probably took three words: "yes we can".

Yeah, he doesn't look like the type that would last too long in prison. I think that may have given a change of heart.

Guess we'll find out.

That is an interesting take on the visual. Wasn't what I noticed right off the bat but the guy probably did have trouble with the extreme wedgie and worse bullies when he was in school.

A couple of times someone tried to do that wedgie thing to me but I had already learned that having an attacker coming up behind you is having them right where you want them. They wind up with the wind knocked out of them flat on their back in front of you with their head between your feet. No one tries pulling that stunt twice.

The reason why I thought the visual of him would help explain what went on was because he looks like cosmetic skin creme squeezed from a tube. why he looks like he spends his day in front of a mirror tending himself, daubing himself with skin creme, getting ready to be on TV. A person couldn't get looking like that in just one day, he'd have to tend to himself in front of a mirror like that every day.

And where was he today, in front of TV cameras at all of the visual news houses. It sound like he went from one to the other to the other, then back to the first to go around them a second time, all day long.

The print media had a hard time covering it.

Nunberg, according to at least one host was drinking before he went on air. If this is an alcohol induced rant (seen more than my share of those as an Alcohol/Addict Counselor for St. Anthony Foundation), then he has most assuredly shot himself in foot.

Yes, the Office of Special Prosecutor can have him arrested for failure to appear. His rants can be used against him. Claiming that he did not know what he was saying will not work.

If this is going to be his morning after....then he needs to sit down with lawyer right now and try to figure the best way to remove his foot from his mouth before Mr. Mueller takes legal action against him.

According to the New York Times, the link to that is above, Nunburg has only been asked to produce communications. There's no mention of the grand jury with instructions in the subpoena for him to appear.

It could be he was doing this in order to make himself appear as non-credible when he meets the grand jury thereby protecting his mentor, Roger Stone. I'm sure the members of a grand jury watch and read the news and they saw/read about his appearances on TV. If he came across as being a bit of a Loney Toon on TV then when he gets in front of them they'll remember that behavior and be skeptical of whatever he has to say.

I tend to view any news content with skepticism when it gets anywhere near Stone. This guy is the master of deception. He could sell you the Brooklyn Bridge, literally. He'd figure out a way to get you thinking that this time it's actually for sale. TV is his weapon, news is his load.

At our high school, Nunberg looks like the nerdy guy who would always try too hard to be cool.

In the CNN interview with Erin Burnett, Nunberg was a babbling fool and not tracking very well. Burnett finally just said he smelled like booze, asked him if he had been drinking...he denied it. And when she said that members of the team had reported his excessive use of alcohol, he then went on to take a giant shit on everybody in the Trump organization. except for Stone.

 Ouch!

Reached for comment, Roger Stone moved swiftly to distance himself from Nunberg, telling The Wrap that his former colleague “speaks only for himself.”

Nunberg is singing a different tune today.

Nunberg wasn't going to testify to the grand jury to protect his mentor, Roger Stone, and he's changed his mind and will testify. Now, his mentor has thrown him under the bus so how will Nunberg respond? Will he throw Stone under the bus to the grand jury.

Now that would be something to see. Roger Stone in his Speedo, with one of his pornstar girlfriends, under the bus.

If that were to happen, Trump would want to make it a ménage à trois; golden showers optional!

i'm guessing, in a heart beat. Of all so far... Nunberg has one helluva huge ax to grind. Just make sure alcohol is applied first. 8-)
