All I can say is, I basically considered it a fun romp, kind of like an episode of the X-Files coming to life. I don't know how much Art ever took it seriously. I didn't. He was good natured.
Unfortunately, the host who succeeded him, George Noory, had an annoying habit of putting RWNJs on the air. It got worse. Noory was more overtly political, and put on all kinds of people obsessed with Obama CTs. The show became unlistenable.
Art took climate change very seriously, wrote books about it.
