Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of fascists.

The NRA found a lot of money to put into the 2016 elections - three times as much as 2012. And they've cozied up to a fake Russian gun rights group (Russia doesn't have gun rights) that was obviously invented to get close to the NRA.

The NRA was a willing accomplice with Russia against their own country. But no one on the right will say a word. Imagine what they would say if a union were in the same position!

There needs to be perp walks for treason.

Just as a point of irony, I suspect Ike and some others might like Russia's current gun laws. Yes, the Bolsheviks DID confiscate guns. It may have been a peoples' revolution, but the people couldn't hang on to their revolutionary arms.

https://www.rbth.com/history/326865-gun ... revolution

Packing heat in the country is no easy task. You need to pass a strict background check and only then can you own a hunting rifle or pneumatic gun.

[snip]

The Bolshevik Revolution put an end to the free circulation of guns among the general public. The leaders of the uprising knew only too well what the masses were capable of, especially if armed up to the teeth, and moved to monopolize gun ownership.

In 1918 the Bolsheviks initiated a large scale confiscation of civilian firearms, outlawing their possession and threatening up to 10 years in prison for concealing a gun.

The only exception was made for hunters who were allowed to possess smoothbore weapons. Gun licenses, however, were strictly regulated and only issued by the NKVD, the police organization known for its role in Joseph Stalin’s political purges.

It was only a matter of time before Russia became an almost totally gun-free nation. Some people believed Russians would regain their right to own guns after the collapse of the Soviet Union but despite firearms becoming available on the black market during the 90s, the new government did not risk liberalizing the gun market.

Today, Russians can only legally buy smoothbore guns for hunting and sports, as well as pneumatic firearms for self-defense. Applying for a gun license also involves a pretty rigorous background check.
In a nutshell, Russians can buy some guns even today but luckily most have abandoned their ancestor’s favorite pastime of shooting indoors.

[snip][end]

As you'll see in the rest of the article, it seems the poet Pushkin and others had very weird habits; he seemed to like to wake up, and fire a shot indoors every time he woke.

Russian gun habits and vodka do not seem like a good combination.

Via Raw Story:

Rep. Will Hurd (R-TX), a former CIA agent, took to CNN to express his disbelief at President Donald Trump’s comments during the joint press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday.

“Having spent almost a decade as an undercover officer in the CIA, having spent my time here in Congress working with our allies across the world who have to face the Russian menace—I’ve seen Russian intelligence manipulate many people in my career, and I never thought the US President would be one of them,” Hurd told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

No big deal, says glen. Trump's just being an ass, says glen.

 The tentacles of this Russian probe stretch far and wide it seems. I'm not convinced that this arrest of this woman is not somehow connected to the Mueller investigation when all the dots are connected.

Anyway, those tentacles have reached the back door of some Floridians, as the indictment of 12 Russians last Friday revealed that, Guccifer 2.0 rcieved "a request for stolen documents from a candidate for U.S. Congress”. This was on August 15, 2016, the same day that stolen DCCC documents on five Congressional csmapigns in Florida were released to the public by the hackers. Even though the indictment did not name the Congressional candidate who requested the stolen documents, here's what we know~

Russian government officials using the pseudonym Guccifer 2.0 also released hundreds of internal documents from the DCCC, the organization that seeks to elect Democrats to Congress. The documents included information on former Miami Rep. Joe Garcia and current state Sen. Annette Taddeo, who were running in a primary to unseat Republican Rep. Carlos Curbelo.

The information in the documents was unflattering for Garcia and Taddeo, as Democrats talked candidly about each candidate’s shortcomings, though the information itself was not new. But the indictment said Guccifer “received a request for stolen documents from a candidate for U.S. Congress” on Aug. 15, 2016, the same day that the stolen DCCC documents related to five Florida congressional campaigns and research files on seven Democratic candidates in Florida were released to the public by the hackers. Guccifer hackers later released more documents on congressional races in other states.

In the indictment, the Justice Department did not name the congressional candidate who sought stolen documents. “The hacks impacted Democrats’ chances, because the information was solely focused on anti-Democrat messaging and no Republican candidates were touched,” said Juan Penalosa, the executive director for the Florida Democratic Party who helped run Garcia’s campaign in 2016. “Democratic candidates had to spend a month responding to the information included in the documents, even when it wasn’t new — while Republicans were able to focus on issues. And today’s information that candidates, most likely Republicans, reached out to Russians for information that would influence American elections is particularly disturbing.”

A 2017 report by the Wall Street Journal highlighted that Florida GOP operative Aaron Nevins was in contact with the Guccifer hackers, and that a campaign consultant for Republican congressional candidate Brian Mast adjusted voter targets based on the stolen information. Mast’s campaign manager said to TCPalm on Friday that the campaign did not use stolen data. Curbelo’s campaign also said it did not use stolen data.

<snip>

Rep. Ron DeSantis, a North Florida Republican who has called for Mueller to end his investigation and who is now running for governor, said he never contacted or received any contact from the Guccifer hackers. The 2016 document release included a file on Democrat George Pappas, who finished fourth in the Democratic primary for DeSantis’ seat........

12 Russians accused of hacking Democrats in 2016 have plenty of Florida connections

I would say that NRA right now would seem to be in the 10 ring for collusion.

NRA receives funding from Russia which it uses to fund politicians.

The NRA and these politicians spread pro Russia propaganda, such as going after the rule of law and Mueller, as well as dividing Americans against one another. Provoking American's to kill one another. Just look at the commercials from NRA TV.

So the same day a criminal complaint is filed on Maria Butina, the Trump admin announces new rules that would allow the NRA to stop disclosing its donors.

Like I said, America is gone, done, because people just "couldn't trust her"

We might very well deserve being completely destroyed, and we are.

FUCK

The FUCKING POINT is America could be DONE and GONE and THAT would be the MAIN reason why. sure Bernie Sanders led the attack on Hillary and made it near impossible for a certain TARGETED group of people to vote for her but he had help!

I don't know. She won the election, but a well-targeted outreach gamed the system to make it look like she didn't. The targeted group is not well known yet. There were some anomalies, such as drumpf running much better among women than anyone expected, and well above what the polls have shown since. We can't rule out vote switching, since we just found out that the company was lying and the machines do allow remote access. We can't prove it either. That's why you need paper ballots.

California just went to touchscreen machines. It's like you want to start blowing things up, but that would get you in jail, and they'd just make more machines.

Arizona candidate shot and killed his 'insane' mother, supports gun rights

PHOENIX — A Republican Arizona state Senate candidate has shocked gun control advocates by sharing details about shooting and killing his mother in apparent self-defense more than 50 years ago.

Bobby Wilson, who is running to represent a southern Arizona district, told The Associated Press that he's not trying to hide anything. He says his mother was "insane" and shot at him with a rifle when he was in bed in their Oklahoma farmhouse one night in 1963. He then shot and killed her — Wilson's sister also died that night, and the house caught on fire.
