She's telling Trump he needs to "come clean" before the release.

Image

She's been leaching off Trump for years, and now that her meal ticket is gone, she's got to make money some other way without doing honest work.

Sadly, when compared to Trump, I'd believe her before him. I'm sure lots of it will be fabricated, but she's been in the middle of the scam for a long time.

I get this sense the book won't be very different from Spicer's.

She's another former insider that's not going to do much negative dish on Trump. Oh, so he really did say "shithole countries"? Color me shocked.

Remember, she crowed about people having to "bow down" to her (former) boss, as if he was owed that by the world.

So she wants him to "come clean"? On what? That she won't say means it's just a tease to sell more pulp.

I also doubt she was in a position to have any inside knowledge on what people care about, like, say, Russia collusion.

She'll be dismisses as a disgruntled ex-White House employee who had to be escorted of White House grounds. Unless she has evidence of crimes against Trump, Pence, or other members of the Trump Administration I doubt her book will do well other than on the cable news shows.

Here's betting it's a top seller. I disagree with ProfX too, it won't be a defense of the White House, it'll be a smear job. She'll make it salacious, and people will be talking about it, whether they believe it or not.

I disagree. Most books by conservatives are bought by PACs and given out to donors which is why so many of those books make the best seller's list. The problem with Omarosa's book is it won't support Trump, the republican party, or conservatism so why would the usual PACs buy it? If she can't make (write) the conservative Kool-Aid correctly then she'll be ignored or marginalized within the conservative world.

Other than the cable news shows like CNN and MSNBC, the book will only be of interest for a couple of days and then fade away. I figure Fox News will either ignore her book or downplay the book by saying Omarosa has an axe to grind against Trump.

Yep, to them they won't be able to understand why she doesn't be quiet and know her place.

Oh, conservatives won't buy it, never said they would. The anti-Trump folks will. Case in point:

The top three best-selling books in 2018 so far all have one thing in common: the Trump Administration.

Indeed, former FBI Director James Comey’s highly anticipated book A Higher Loyalty climbed to the third highest spot on Amazon’s best-seller list before it was even released Tuesday. The book joined Michael Wolff’s Fire and Fury and A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo, a children’s picture book from Last Week Tonight with John Oliver that takes a jab at Vice President Mike Pence’s rhetoric toward the LGBTQ community — using his pet bunny as the lead character.

As CNN Money notes, books about the Trump Administration have filled the number one slot on the New York Times‘s hardcover nonfiction list since mid-January. That’s in large part due to the dominance of Fire and Fury, which sat in the top spot for 10 straight weeks.

Well, she's trying to regain her Black Creds both by leaving the Trump WH and now by writing this book.

Haha won't even work.

And Watergate reporter Bob Woodward is releasing his book on 9/11:

In the worldwide capital of leaks and anonymous dishing that is Washington, secrets can be almost impossible to keep.

But somehow over the past 19 months, the fact that America’s most famous investigative journalist was quietly chipping away at a book that delves into the dysfunctions of President Trump’s White House remained largely unknown. On Monday night, that veil of secrecy will be lifted when Simon & Schuster plans to announce that it will publish “Fear: Trump in the White House” by Bob Woodward on Sept. 11, according to a copy of the release obtained by The Washington Post.

In the book, Woodward’s 19th, the 75-year-old journalist and author “reveals in unprecedented detail the harrowing life inside President Donald Trump’s White House and precisely how he makes decisions on major foreign and domestic policies,” the publisher’s release states.

Re: secrets The three worst words in a conspiracy - "someone else knows"

Donnie's WH has leaked like a sieve from day 1. whether it is him leaking it intentionally via whatever method or someone else leaking it doesn't really matter. This guy plays the media and his base like a violin.

As for Omarosa, I don't know anything about her. I would suspect she is like Milo in that they are both just attention whores. Any publicity is good publicity. So she takes controversial stances just to raise her profile. Doubtful she actual has any moral compass. Which should have made her a good fit for Donnie.

Comey, Wolff, and Oliver are established names so people would be more willing to read what they write whereas Omarosa is a reality TV personality who most people wouldn't give a damn about. She'll have modest success with the book, maybe a few thousands sold, but nothing like the sales Woodward's book Fire: Trump in the White House will have which will put him again on the best seller list.

I decided a long time ago I cant and wont judge POC or Women or Muslims, Jewish folk etc., anyone who I have not walked a mile in the shoes of.

Sure, if they commit murder then our system will judge them, but apart from that kind of judgment, I have no earthly idea what I would do to cope with living in a system as drastically racist and violent as ours were I a minority, so I wont judge the actions of Omarosa or whoever.

Clarence Thomas might be another issue though :rw)

We'll see, my friend. Yes, Woodward's book will be a big deal, probably the biggest so far. But i'll bet her book is on the top of the list until his comes out.

I think it will primarily be things taken out of context.

Of course, because Trump's a successful businessman that is just misunderstood.

No because Omarosa is the female version of Trump when it comes to honesty and ethics. I am sure she will write things that are truthful and lying at the same time. By distorting the context. It will things like if you or I was having lunch with John Gotti and laughingly said get out of town. Then kater brag that we once told Gotti to get out of town.

Is she?

Are you sure?

Omarosa's treatment by conservative whites -- who wasted no time in turning on one of like three Donald Trump propagandists once she left her absurd perch in the WH -- reminds me of why I left conservatism and the Republican Party. Or is it escaped.

It's going to take a lot for Omarosa to ever get invited to the cookout, again. But if it comes to it, some of us will defend her from conservative whites like we do for everyone else in the community; those of us who have had to endure and have survived American conservatism understand very well the hemp rope in wait for her. Same for those whackodoodles Katrina Pierson, Daryl Scott, and Sheriff Clarke, though they're way too far gone to defend for any reason. :?

Today's Republican Party has made it impossible to be a normal Black person who is conservative, but you've been on this track since Eisenhower. You guys have become a party of freaks.

Yeah, I get it. In my view, she gets what she gets, for the most part.

But I'll defend her from conservative whites whose blood pressure goes up and makes them want to get out the hemp rope of vindication for Negro Defectors, like I've had to do with Condi and Colin. And I still don't really like them. I just understand what they are, have been where they are, and get why they are like that. :problem:

Lol, in fact, I'm waiting for these #BOAN white cons to start claiming they and Donald Trump are victims of this person, in 3-2-1... #BOAN #BOAN #BOAN

All of them are stupid dupes, at the end of the day. She may be too far gone to come to her senses about conservative whites, or she might still have the capacity. But TBH, I kind of doubt it. :problem:

I think Omarosa and Mike Cohen are two of the latest folks to realize a fundamental truth about Donald Trump: he demands loyalty, but unlike a good Confucian, doesn't show any of it back to his people.

It takes him probably about a few microseconds to throw you under the bus to save his own skin. Of course, he has hirelings like Rudy Giuliani to do it for him. Did I mention they are Black and Jewish?

Look, I suspect Omarosa's book will be a lot like Fire & Fury -- weird, wild, whacky stuff Trump does! And yes she saw it! And now she'll tell all! You know: "gossip!" Here's a bet: she probably still does not support impeaching or removing him from office. (Christine Todd Whitman just said, publicly, he should resign.) "I don't like the way he's behaving, but it's still the right agenda for America!"

For more substantive critiques of Trump policies, and maybe a solid argument about the entire maladmin's malfeasance, which will undoubtedly be better sourced, go for the Woodward book.
