1. While sound is hard to believe, these guys say microwave isn't:

The second link is a paper approved for publication in the New England Journal of Medicine. The writer cites the Frey Effect, a phenomenon where people in strong RF fields hear odd noises.

But this scientist, who has studied the Frey Effect, says that it doesn't explain what happened with the diplomats.

Other credible sources also discount the microwave theory.

So it remains a mystery shrouded in an enigma.

2. Meanwhile, the same thing seems to be happening in China. It seems doubtful that Cuban intelligence would be working with the Chinese. Some speculation is converging on Russia.

Russia certainly has the motive, means, and opportunity.

Then there's this, in the London Times, though I haven't checked how credible it is:

Quote:
US officials believe that Russia was responsible for causing mysterious brain injuries to American diplomats in Cuba, it was claimed yesterday.

Intelligence officials investigating the sophisticated attacks on the US embassy in Havana told NBC News that they had intercepted communiques pointing to a link to Moscow.

I start to wonder if we'll ever get a conclusive answer.
