One of the issues that's arising is that Ireland will remain part of the EU, whereas Northern Ireland will remain part of the UK, which is ... brexiting.

Thus, there may need to be a hard border between the two parts of the island, complete with customs and checkpoints. (There isn't now.)

If Brexit continues one wouldn't be surprised if Scotland finally bolted.

Yes, May could easily go down in history as the PM that broke up the UK.

When a simple re-vote, with the knowledge that the first one was fouled by outside agitators, would solve the problem forever.

I know you already know this but I think it deserves revisiting...majorities in both N. Ireland and Scotland voted against Brexit. England and Wales for Brexit. And there's significant evidence that the pro-Brexit voters were the equivalent of xenophobic Trumpers. This was not a vote on economics. It was a vote on immigration. It was promoted as such by Nigel Farage and his crew of assholes...and supported by nationalist, xenophobic, white christian bigots in England and Wales.

If I were a Scottish resident, I would be all over the fucking place working for Scotland to leave the UK. The blonde was born in Belfast. She is a resident of both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and supports both Scotland and N. Ireland leaving the UK. In her opinion it's long past time for a re-unification of Ireland. They're all proudly Irish and they can make it work.

The English were only in the EU with one foot right from the get go, refusing to close out their beloved fucking £. Snotty-faced, vacuous, malodorous, perverted, toffee-nosed heaps of parrot droppings!
