Accusing someone of rape is extremely serious. A 17 year old and a 15 year old turning 16 is a 2 age age difference between high school age groups and consensual sex between those ages would most likely waive a statutory rape case, especially in that time period, I would think. If I’m clear on ages. I would also think that people between these age groups in the 1970s wouldn’t know about age of consent laws. There are lots of cases where grade 12 students date students in grade 10 and it was pretty common when I was in high school in the 80s. And no, I’m not referring to myself.

In most states, there are Romeo and Juliet laws that cover consensual sex among underage teens. It's rare for anyone to be prosecuted under these laws.

As I posted earlier, on the old board glenn started a thread about how everyone should be civil on the board and he promised to be civil. He didn't last a week before he went back to his old habits of calling people socialists and communists.

glenn mentioned his having sex at 17 with a girl who was 15. Why he thought this was important only he can answer that question. When he did that he opened the door for people to express their opinions on his conduct and he's upset about what they're saying.
