It's time to tackle a mean chore.

I'm afraid that the Bullshit pile around here has heaped up too damned high.

It's come to be that time to shovel it into the field spreader and spread it out on the south pasture.

A jury of 11 women and 5 men vs A jury of 11 men 5 women.

Which one is likely to have 1 or 2 jury nullification individual. Especially in a case of this nature and in Georgia.

There is an industry in the legal profession of Voir dire specialists. And prosecutors hire them. And in a case of this nature the prosecution doesn’t want a heavily loaded white male jury.

Former Georgia district attorney booked on charges of obstructing Ahmaud Arbery case

The indictment says Johnson violated her oath by "showing favor and affection" to Greg McMichael and "failing to treat Ahmaud Arbery and his family fairly and with dignity." It also says she obstructed police by "directing that Travis McMichael should not be placed under arrest."

"She should spend time in prison," said Lee Merritt, an attorney for Arbery's mother. "Her actions are not just acts of negligence, but she actively worked to cover up the murder."
In other words, SOP for many DA offices, Southern or not. Maybe less in some areas but still SOP in many.

She is the type who sews the white sheets for her husband. Except some of these KKK women like Borbert, Rogers, Huckabee Sanders, Greene, and others, are in positions of power.

It's quite telling to look through this thread and the one on Kyle Rittenhouse. While everyone on the right chimed in on Rittenhouse, telling us that Rittenhouse was not guilty, and Glenn saying we're anti-white racists for our view that he was guilty of murder, I guess they don't have an opinion they wished to share about the Arbery murder.

Could it be because they think Arbery WAS a criminal who was probably guilty of SOMETHING, and deserved what he got, and then men were just defending themselves against a murderous, superhumanly-strong animal black man? That they had the Constitutional right to pursue a black man with guns, and if he tried to defend himself against the white men, then they would fear for their lives and were right in murdering him?

Only GreenGrass posted, but it was bullshit about members of a jury, and how his lawyer buddies told him they would decide cases (his lawyer buddies turned out to be wrong, BTW). Never gave an opinion himself, though he was trying to insinuate he was on the side of the victim.

I have a question for our righties: Say a guy with a gun assaults you, and pulls their gun on you. If you fought them back, and tried to get their gun, would you then always shoot and kill them with that gun?

Or would you just want to disarm them and NOT kill them?

I think part of it is also how we played as kids, and how the old westerns showed life: If you get the "drop" on someone, they would just instantly put their hands in the air and surrender. When these guys go out with their guns to run someone down, I think they believe that their adversaries will just quietly put their hands in the air and surrender. Instead, most people will fight for their lives. That's REAL WORLD.

Face it, people. Movies aren't reality. Oh, I LOVE movies. Heck, I love Die Hard. I love the Lethal Weapon movies. I admit it. But they are white male testosterone fantasies. Clint Eastwood was a vigilante cop in Dirty Harry that would be in prison in real life.

The old westerns were far worse than the cop movies, as they demonized Native Americans. They would be very hard to watch for that reason. I think people who tell us that America is the "greatest country on the face of the earth" get that from their immersion into such fantasies. This nation has a lot of "original sin" blood on it's hands as a nation for what we did to the Native American and Negro race. That's hard to wash off.

And we never have, and many people are PROUD of that history, and want to back to the "good old days" when whites could do whatever they wanted to, to BOTH races, and get away with it every time.

They dont like where this went, and they don't like where the neonazi trial went, either.

Conservaive white males are always expected to get away with their criminality and their mass murder.

He’s just mad because one conservative white male lynchmob finally is made to pay for their crimes. One too many, I guess.

“Travis and Greg McMichael, who were convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery in Georgia, have been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. William "Roddie" Bryan, who was also convicted in the case, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole — meaning he must serve at least 30 years before he's eligible for release.”

Seems proper.

Next is the hotseat for the federal civil rights case.

Ahmaud Arbery's family says they rejected a plea deal for federal hate crime charges - CBS News
Earlier this week, the Department of Justice approached Arbery's mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, about a plea deal that would have Travis McMichael, 35, and his father Gregory McMichael, 66, spend 30 years in prison if they admit that what they did was motivated by hate, according to Arbery family lawyer Lee Merritt.

Cooper-Jones told "CBS Mornings" she rejected the deal because she wants the men to stand trial in court for those charges.
Good.

Bye, lynchmob.
