A party that constantly attempts to invalidate voters. A party that attempted a coup. A party that invites dictators like Orban and Bolsonaro to speak at CPAC. is this a surprise? And slavery eh? Maybe check your history on the shift that occurred between these parties. These are the people who support alternate history about the civil war. People who make comments that blacks are lucky they were given better lives as slaves. Who consider confederates, heroes. And the GOP is the party cancelling black history from schools.

A Republican in Florida just introduced a bill that would ban the Democratic Party from existing in the state. Registered Democrats in Florida would be notified that their party has been “canceled” and they’re now no-party voters.

Yeah, the FL Democratic party supported slavery - 150 years ago. It's not in the platform anymore.

If enough of them from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut move to Florida they can change it from a red state to a blue state. Of course, there would be a handful of people from the Jersey Shore who wouldn't be allowed in Florida because even with their low standards that would be too much.
