Your Guide to Cable TV Cord-Cuttinghttps://www.tomsguide.com/us/cord-cutti ... 17928.htmlUnfortunately, with Net Neutrality potentially over, the future of streaming services and devices as a cable TV alternative for consumers is ... hazy.
By that, I mean, of course they will continue to roll out ... whether they will continue to be a more affordable alternative (and what bundles/tradeoffs you might need for that to be the case with your ISP) ... guess we'll see.
I have the Apple TV and lots of streaming apps including Netflix. Let's just say I am very close to cutting the cord with my cable provider, even though BTW they are also my ISP and seem to keep threatening I won't save money if I unbundle and just stick with them for Internet. Meanwhile, they brag constantly about speed increases yada yada yada but my main nervousness about complete cord cutting is how much most of the streaming stuff I watch constantly pauses and rebuffers. It's horrid on some HD. And I haven't even tried 4K.
