Sure happening around here. They buy it up and neuter it.

9/11 conspiracy theories[edit]
In 2008, Martin posted a video showing her support for the 9/11 Truth movement.[16] She has labelled the US government's version of September 11, 2001 as "propaganda".[17] During the administration of President George W. Bush she said of the attacks: "I've researched it for three years and every single thing that I uncover solidifies my belief that it was an inside job and that our government was complicit in what happened."[18][19][20] The New York Times described her as a 9/11 conspiracy theorist,[18] but Martin told the Associated Press in March 2014 that she "no longer subscribes" to the theory that 9/11 was an inside job as she did earlier.[21]

The Empire Files is hosted by teleSUR, which is funded by several Latin American governments. Martin said "The show is totally independent of teleSUR ... We merely sell them the content; they have zero control over anything we do".[39] The program was forced to shut their operations completely in August 2018, when wire connection was cut off to the USA, due to US sanctions against Venezuela, after having suffered heavy financial dificulties caused by "financial attacks" by the US government, according to Media Roots.[40][41]

Former RT anchor Liz Wahl said: "RT’s Abby Martin says things the Kremlin likes ... A narrative that I find to be propagandous and hostile toward the West".[46]

Telesur (stylised as teleSUR) is a multi-state funded, Latin American terrestrial and satellite television network headquartered in Caracas, Venezuela. It is sponsored primarily by the government of Venezuela,[1] but also by Cuba, Nicaragua, Uruguay, and Bolivia.[2]

Critics have argued that Telesur works as a propaganda network for the regimes of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro, and provides coverages that focus only in the information that may benefit or harm a government, according to its political aligment. According to website infobae, on a big demonstration in Argentina in December 2017 against policies proposed by centre-right Argentine President Mauricio Macri, who has denounced human rights abuses in Venezuela, Telesur "omitted the attack on uniforms and the big number of injured policemen(...)and also omitted that protagonist of one of the incidents was pre-candidate to deputy for a left party, Santiago Sebastian Romero".[24] while "there were demonstrations in Venezuela against the economic policies of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in the same year, that ended with 100 deaths, thousands of arbitrary detentions and injured people. In those cases, Telesur praised the Venezuelan National Guard and the Bolivarian National Police, accused the demonstrators of being related to the United States, and considered Maduro's regime as a promoter of peace.
