One hectare of land is 2.471 acres so 100 hectares of land would be 247.1 acres. But the problem is they don't say where these 100 hectares of land is. It could be in Siberia.

For years, conservatives have told us "America, Love it or Leave it." We've replied "America, Love it or change it." Today, conservatives say "America, Overthrow it" as was demonstrated on Jan 6, 2021 and still advocate it.

They always remind me of Professor Harold Hill from The Music Man who gins up a phony problem, a pool hall in town that will corrupt the town's youths, and miraculously has the solution to the problem which just so happens to benefit himself financially.

Walgreens Bends to Pressure, Won’t Sell Abortion Pills in Red States Even Where It’s Legal

Another big shoe has dropped in the struggle of the Biden administration and reproductive-rights advocates against Republican state officials and anti-abortion advocates.

In the wake of an administration green light for retail sale of pills used to terminate pregnancies, Walgreens, the second-largest retail pharmacy chain in the country, has bent to pressure from 21 Republican attorneys general (20 signed a joint letter, with Kansas’s notorious Kris Kobach making his own threats separately) announcing it would not sell mifepristone or distribute it by mail in their states. What makes the step notable is that abortion and/or abortion pills are still legal in several of those states, as Politico reports.

Republicans sure love controlling how everyone else is allowed to live. Who votes for this unconstitutional, fascist bullshit?

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tennesse ... 00321.html

Tennessee lawmakers passed a bill banning drag shows in public on Thursday, sending the measure to the Republican Governor Bill Lee’s desk.

The law would make Tennessee the first state to ban public drag, which could also affect LGBTQ+ pride celebrations and transgender people who are in shows of any kind. There are currently 20 bills in 15 US states aimed at drag queen performances.

There are already laws against indecent performances for minors. Enforce those. There is no need to ban drag, it's absurd. And if enforced retroactively, would get most of the people proposing such ordinances.

They need a law to stop them from dressing in drag again! They are just running on hatred.

It’s the government’s job to pass laws against drag to protect the children.

But it’s not the government’s job to pass laws to protect the children against gun violence…

In some red states they will TRY and may succeed to KILL Women who have abortions, they are trying to pass that law now.

CONS WANT US DEAD, and now everyone realizes it I hope. When they start killing them, the cons ON THIS BOARD will figure out a way to justify it.

White supremacists take responsibility for carvings on Montana sacred Native site

A white nationalist group appears to have taken credit for etching Nazi symbols on an outdoor recreational area managed by the Bureau of Land Management and named after a prominent Crow leader.

The BLM confirmed that it is investigating graffiti carved into the Four Dances area, which is located approximately three miles south of Billings. The Big Sky Active Club said on its Gab social media account: “BSAC went on a hike and etched our message in stone. Tribe up or die.”

I used to.think you were the only one on this board with that bizzaro belief. Recently I have learned there are others and perhaps up to half of the liberals here share your views and beliefs.
To you I apologize for believing you were a one off in your extreme views. Now I learn you are much closer to the center of today’s democratic beliefs.

I'm sorry, but it's GOP elected officials that are writing bills that would put women on death row for having an abortion.

Which is just logical if you believe abortion is murder, right?

I've told you this all along and now we know for sure.

I do believe these GOPers want to have women arrested for having abortions. Why? They've done it. It's happened.

South Carolina woman's arrest draws attention to criminalization of self-managed abortions
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nat ... 392785002/

... that said, no she is not facing the death penalty, it isn't being charged as 1st degree murder.

I also think these restrictive abortion laws can and will lead to women dying.

Report: Maternal Mortality Has Been Higher in Abortion-Restricting States
A new report finds that women in states with current abortion bans or heavy restrictions have had worse health outcomes in the past than those in states where abortions are accessible.
https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states ... ing-states

I guess I'm extremely inclined to notice reality.

South Carolina: https://www.wmbfnews.com/2023/02/22/pro ... e-offense/
South Carolina legislators are hearing a bill that would make abortion punishable by death.

Abortion is currently legal in South Carolina, as the state’s Supreme Court has vetoed all proposed legislation to restrict abortions within the state. The Court’s 3-2 decision allows abortion to remain legal in the state until 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The new bill, “South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act of 2023,″ was pre-filed on Dec. 15, 2022. Following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, Republican leaders have been hoping to reinstate a pre-Roe ban on almost all abortions at six weeks of pregnancy.

The bill seeks to amend the state constitution to recognize life as an individual person “from the moment of fertilization” and to define “person” to include an unborn child at any stage of development.

In altering the definition of “person” in the Palmetto State, the bill says that an unborn child who is “assaulted,” or “a victim of homicide,” would receive “equal protection under the assault laws of the state.”

Dozens of lawmakers have sponsored the bill.

According to South Carolina’s Code of Laws, a person who is convicted of or pleads guilty to murder must be punished by death, or by a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment for 30 years to life. If passed, under the bill, women receiving abortions could face the death penalty.

No a small group of unorganized wackos rioted and misguidedly believed it was going to overturn the election.
Had they been there to overthrow the government I believe they would have Brought weapons.
Had a plan of action
Had a chain of command
Had some form of central leadership
And so.on.

No, it was large group of ORGANIZED wackos. The courts are going through the lower levels now. They were taking orders from Trump's tweets. When he told them to go home, they immediately left. AND they were all hooked up through Trump's people, like Manafort, Rudy, Flynn and Steve Bannon.

Many have already been convicted of conspiracy.

But you defend everything Trump does.
