Now, we had Uvalde. The GOP has nothing more than "thoughts and prayers". It's no big deal to the party that the cops wouldn't go in against an AR-15. The GOP says that anyone should be able to carry an AR-15 anywhere in Texas without a permit. Just like the guy yesterday, who was a law-abiding citizen right up until the moment that he got out of his car and started shooting. Good thing it was an off-duty cop, most of the cops in Texas won't go up against a man with an AR-15. Just let the people die, and call in the Feds.
