Wow! what a scoop!
One of my favorite manufacturers will be bringing the "Smart" Cell Phone Manufacturing back home, and by one of the pioneers in quality communications. Now this company still makes a lot in the United States, but the Cell Phone became one of those "throw away" items. Not anymore!
Motorola announced today at the D11 that the MOTO X (X Platform Phone) will be made in the retooled plant they purchased from Nokia in Texas.
Yes it's good news. Android X and clearly a framework for the next generation of Smart Phones, and get this...
it will cost less than an APPLE and have more features.

When it has to work... It has to be MOTOROLA!
And the pressure is on in the Texas plant to have the phones on the shelves in OCTOBER!

And not to leave out APPLE Mac Fans...
APPLES from Texas!
Returning to the states too!

Didn't Google buy Motorola's phone division?

For Verizon customers, the problem is less crummy hardware than the total inability to update the OS. I don't even have Jelly Bean, let alone Ice Cream Sandwich. I am under the impression that a class action was started on this, but I never heard whether the class and its relators were found to have standing.
