Attempt not necessary.

You did that on your own by revealing these nauseating details about what you did to your wife on this messageboard, behind her back.

You chose to do that. Nobody made you do it.

I feel bad for her, and for any woman or girl in your environment.

:problem: It's not "slander." Words mean things. Look up the meaning of words before using them.

Too bad you did not think of what could affect you personally and professionally before raping a 15 year old girl. But hey, you've been taught all your miserable confederate life that you're entitled to whatever you want, including actual people.

Women aren't even people, to you. We can tell by your colonizer attitude towards your wife and daughters.

And stop trying to out "Rich," whoever that is.
Glenn created this monster and he cannot kill it.

The Age of Consent in Ohio in 1977 was Sixteen Years of Age. Glenn raped a 15-Year Old Girl and is now threatening slander as a means to stop being called a racist.

There was no slander (The Action or Crime of Making A False Statement Damaging A Person's Reputation). Glenn made his statement of raping a 15-Year Old Girl of his free will and volition.

Glenn is worried his Children and Grandchildren will find he rape a 15-Year Od Girl. Memo to Glenn. Engage brain before thinking. You wrote it, you own it.

Plus, he originally said this happened in 1976.

What kind of person goes around revealing this level of detail about he and his spouses’ intimate life? The way some of these men around here talk about their wives behind their backs is nauseating.

This guy to this day is so delusional he doesn’t even see the problem of an 18 year old sleeping with an underage person, be they 13(!) or 15. Being a conservative male, the entire question of consent is apparently beyond their comprehension. When asked if he’d be fine with his own kids being groomed in the same way, he can’t even say he’d have a problem with it. :?

Conservative predators.

As for accusing me of Slander.

Glenn has Slandered me by calling me "Communist".

Glenn has Slandered me by call me "Socialist".

I did not threaten legal action.

Glenn has Slandered other members of this forum as well by accusations of Communism and Socialism.

I do not recall threats of legal action against Glenn.

Age of Consent in Ohio in 1977 was 16 Years of Age.

Glenn was 18-Years of Age when he raped a 15-Year Old Girl.

I did NOT force, coerce or intimidate Glenn into making his statement regarding this act. He did so by his own words.

That he has spoken of his private, intimate sexual activity with with wife is very disgusting. But Glenn is one of those men like to brag about their sex life.

As for engaging inapproriate sexual activity girls as young as 13-Years of Age, well Glenn does not like being called Pedo, but again by his words he is damned.

Wait, this is important.

60% of self identified cons are not vaccinated or 60% of those not vaccinated are self identified cons?

Very frightening either way, VERY!

I havent found my answer yet, got distracted. If 6 out of 10 repubs are not vaccinated, we have a problem that will hurt ALL of us. Whether you need a hospital bed for something else but unvax are taking the space or the further spread of variants.

Madness, and not ONE con on this board will speak up.

Some reasons Trump came out last week to tell the base to take the vaccine.

The base is getting obliterated. They need to plug the hole.

If omicron takes over and is indeed more mild, Trump wants credit for being the guy who wiped out Covid.

The fact that the GOP has politicized a deadly pandemic for power is a crime against humanity.

The stupidity of the anti-vaxers is having a deadly ripple effect on our healthcare system. People who need cancer screening/treatment aren't getting the attention they need. Surgeries have been delayed because the doctors are needed for COVID-19 patients (most of whom are unvaccinated) and because the hospitals have become COVID-19 hot spots for acquired COVID-19 infections. All because some people, mainly conservatives, won't do the patriotic thing and get vaccinated.

You can see that stupidity right here on this board.

Hesitation to wear masks, getting the vax ONLY because of pressures from work or family.

Omicron may do less harm to the lungs than COVID-19 and the Delta variant.
A spate of new studies on lab animals and human tissues are providing a possible explanation of why the Omicron variant causes milder disease than previous versions of the coronavirus.

In studies on mice and hamsters, Omicron produced less damaging infections, often limited largely to the upper airway: the nose, throat and windpipe. The variant did much less harm to the lungs, where previous variants would often cause scarring and serious breathing difficulty.

On Wednesday, a large consortium of Japanese and American scientists released a report on hamsters and mice that had been infected with either Omicron or one of several earlier variants. Those infected with Omicron had less lung damage, lost less weight and were less likely to die, the study found.

France institutes mandatory masks outdoors in Paris.
Masks will be mandatory outdoors in the French capital starting Friday, one of several new restrictions put in place to slow down the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

Paris police announced Wednesday that people aged 11 and over will be required to wear masks outdoors and in all public areas. Some exceptions are allowed, including for people taking exercise.

Prime Minister Jean Castex detailed earlier this week a series of new restrictions, including mandatory working from home for at least three days a week starting early January. Companies that are found in breach of this rule could be fined up to €50,000, Labor Minister Elisabeth Borne said Thursday.

Outside gatherings will be limited to 5,000 but the government hasn't ruled on whether campaign events for the April presidential election will be subjected to such limits. Castex said a committee gathering all political parties would be assembled in the new year to discuss and define specific rules.

Masks are a good idea in large cities, where people in the street are prone to bunching up at corners, entrances, exits, etc. It's fine to say that yeah, it's the street and there's a breeze moving air around, but there comes a time when reality sets in. It appears quite strongly that Omicron brings that time.

It would be nice if people would comply. Maybe they will, in France. They won't in this country.

-----

On a lighter side, the name "Castex" always cracks me up. It's also the name of a company that rents out grip equipment to productions. This stuff is by necessity very sturdy. It's always made out of thick steel, and generally looks like something you could seriously damage someone with. Hence the name we gave the stuff: Castrex.

Poor guy, he's a French elected official and everything. It's sad that his name makes me giggle. On second thought, maybe not so sad. We take what we can get in the covid era.

I agree that if you're outdoors in a crowded area you should be wearing a mask. I was taking to a bowling teammate last night and I made the observation other than preventing/reducing the spread of COVID masks make it hard to tell if someone has bad breath.

Also, last night at bowling, just as we were finishing, there were some open bowlers. One of the, a woman, was talking with my teammate and she waved at me and I acknowledged her. It turns out she used to bowl with us in another league years ago and I haven't seen her in probably five years. With her mask on it was hard to figure out who she was. We spent about five minutes catching up with each other. Unless you see someone often with a mask it's easy not to recognize someone you know who is wearing a mask.

I see we're still not on a wartime footing. Why not? The covid has already killed more Americans than all our wars put together, though that's not corrected for population, making it kind of a bogus statistic. Even so, if that can't wake Americans up, I don't know what will.

The current R sub 0 in LA County is 1.9. That means that nearly every case spreads to an average of two more. That's astounding. We're a few iterations away from, mathematically anyway, the entire population having it.

People... this is getting ridiculous. When do we declare a dire national emergency and start extraordinary measures? Why are tests still 45 bucks a crack and hard to find? Why aren't we requiring anyone who can manufacture them to go on three shifts a day? Why is the National Guard not mobilizing to support health services and distribute whatever tests we can get, leaving boxes of same on doorsteps? Why is there a national uproar over MTG getting banned from twitter for anti-vax agitation? Why is it not patriotic to do more of that? Why are vaccines not being promoted as a patriotic duty? Why are emergency measures not in place to de-legitimize anti-vax and conspiracy theories the way we discourage loose talk and demoralizing rumors during declared wars? Why are health services still lagging in disadvantaged communities? Why aren't essential services getting emergency support? Why aren't there rally-the-home-front ads all over Internet and TV? Why is the border still open?

We're at war.

I'm flabbergasted, frankly.
