Biden won the popular vote by about 8 million with around 82 million votes to 74 million. Doing this from memory in case my numbers are slightly off.
Of that 82 million many were people like me who just couldn't stomach trump. Now Biden in his political career has always been somewhat of a center left Democrat.
You have it backwards. He's been center-right. If you're in doubt, check his record on segregation/busing, Anita Hill, and the Crime Bill, which was flat-out rightwing.
He gets to the WH and goes hard left supporting and passing pretty close to what a president Sanders would be able to pass.
:problem:
Sanders is not "hard left." You're even gullible and manipulated enough to think there are people on RFL that are "hard left".
The Chinese govt is "hard left." The Cuban govt is hard left. The USSR was hard left -- the country head today was head of the KGB, and
the WNs of that country are now in league with WNs in the USA - Harvard International Review.
Incidentally, the PRC govt happens to be the best capitalists in the world.
If just 4 million less than 4pct of his total and less than 3pct of all voters are turned off by his turn to the left he is done if he decides to run for re-election. Which I don't see him doing do to age.
But if the democratic party nominee is or campaigns to the left of Biden the democratic party is in trouble.
Ours is a centrist nation ...
If this is a centrist nation, it's only that way because of people like RFLers who balance out the economic and social ravages of centuries of white conservatism.
Your current little resurgence or whatever won't work, either. Your CRT/1619 bans are going the way of you guys' Ethnic Studies bans in Arizona.
...that will elect a person who is slightly left or slightly right. We will not elect a person who is hard left or hard right if we have a choice.
Nobody is deterred by these dumb threats. Nobody is dumb enough to take political advice from criminal confederate rapists, either.
