Paul gave his announcement today and said he was ready to take the country back for wingnut libertarian Ayn Randian feudalism.

I'm currently working on a video of Why Rand Paul Sucks. I need help folks! Can you give me some juicey tidbits, soundbites, policy issues, and conspiracy beliefs of him?

So far I have his plagiarism, signing the Tom Cotton letter, hiring white supremacist campaign staffers, thinking private business owners should have the freedom to discriminate, and supporting a personhood bill.

Remember just before the election in 2010 a woman tried to approach him, he climbed into his big black SUV while his thugs threw her down into the gutter and one of them stomped on her head. It was on video, if you could find it you wouldn't need to make a Why Rand Paul Sucks video of your own.

Found it. Do you know if Paul apologized for the actions of his crew? If not, I'll use it.

After the furor began, I think he distanced himself from the stamper, the man was removed from the campaign, but no he didn't really take responsibility for the act.

The point I think to bring out is he was there, he had been telling everyone what a leader was and how hard he'd be fighting for us.

This happened and he watched it happen, he sat there three feet away and watched it happen. He sat there and watched if happen until they drove away, and then he did nothing until there was some furor over it.

He's a coward.

Rand Paul doesn't stand a chance of being elected and, unless he truly is delusional, he knows it. He's in the race to push the rhetoric as far to the right as possible. It will be a propaganda tour. Then there's the funding. There's a profit to be made. Of course, there's also the ego food. "I was once a candidate for the U.S. Presidency!".

Most of the gop will be saying that.

I hold out hope for seeing a debate stage with 18 podiums six feet apart adorned with red white and blue forth of July bunting.

Wouldn't that be a sight ...

Given the first couple of days, it's going to be a very entertaining campaign.

It's going to be a real circus with all of them on-stage together. Crazy Tea Party on one side, extreme social conservatives on another side, extreme economic (for the rich) conservatives on another side, foreign policy know-nothings on another side, and the "ego" candidates on yet another side.

It will be interesting to watch Rand Paul being attacked on what he said years ago and try to dodge answering questions by saying he'll only respond to what he's said since he announced his candidacy.

I'll be stocking up on popcorn, soda pop, and Kleenex (to wipe my eyes from laughing) for this comedy.

Here's one for you RitaAnn, Rand Paul is selling a "NSA Spy Cam Blocker" on his presidential website for $15. I It looks like it's just a plastic gadget that goes over your laptop camera and you just slide it left to cover the camera or right to uncover the camera. I'm sure a lot of his follows will buy this item which just proves "There's a sucker born every minute." Instead of the wasting $15 you could just put a piece of tape over the camera.

Yeah, I could use a clothes pin to do the same. I know just who to ask for one and it wouldn't cost me a dime. Also, I guess they don't know what tape is either.

Or you could use one of those bag clips, the long ones with the wide mouth.

Would it say "Rand Paul" on it? No? Then it's just not the same, is it?

Toonces, I think it just says Rand.

Here's what to do, Google images using the search string, rand corporation logo. Scroll down and find the size you need, clip it and glue it to the camera lens. Then it's just the same.

I went with sporty jet black, clipped mine from a roll of electricians tape. Did you know the purpose electricians tape is designed to fill is not to insulate. It's to be a used to temporarily bind wires to the end of a fish tape and make a slick head of it, so those wires can be drawn into a narrow tube? Once that's accomplished it's intended that it be removed and discarded.

tRand Paul yanks Ray-Bans after complaint

Quote:
Ray-Ban has asked Sen. Rand Paul’s presidential campaign to quit selling the brand’s Wayfarer sunglasses, which Paul had imprinted with the “Rand” logo.

The Rand-Ban sunglasses were for sale for $150 on Paul’s website as recently as Tuesday. The website described the product as “the intersection of politics and cool.”

But the campaign didn’t have Ray-Ban’s consent, and the company didn’t think that was cool

With all the GOP that's running, they're going to need a semi. Wonder if Glenn will drive? :rw)
