That's a good thread title. This is a Trump approval/disapproval topic thread.

Jennifer Rubin wrote that title, and under it she wrote:

"When the Washington Post/ABC News poll released last week showed President Trump’s approval down to 36 percent, we (and others) cautioned that more polling over a longer period of time would tell if this was simply a blip or if Trump’s myriad scandals — plus his boorish conduct regarding national hero Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), who died last month — had finally taken a toll. (Not to mention that his trade wars are also causing pain in rural America.)"

"We now have one more poll:"

I call the title she wrote click bait and will always click on a title like that.

The poll she has is an IBD/TIPP poll. It correlates well with the Washington Post/ABC News poll.

Trump's current polling average is one tenth above dipping down into the 30's. ... l-ratings/

Two polls only move the average down so much. The 538 approval average is 40.1%. There's a chart of how it has been all along there and if it dips down into the 30's, only a one tick movement to go his support average will have dropped to where is was way last February.

Republican influenced media has dropped ungodly amount of air time trying to create a bubble of support for Trump amoung dissatisfied Republicans. It has worked to some extent.

What is showing up in the polls is that the media blitz worked for a while but the dissatisfied faction is returning to the mean as the continued pro Trump klaxon blaring heavy handed nonstop outrage has numbed their senses, and as thus has become a less effective propaganda tool.

Right in time to be less effective when they need it the most for the elections to come. I'm tickled pink. :D
