Now he’s attacking the judge. Who the fuck votes for this party? This is the leader they’re all defending.

None of them are even stating they’re going to wait and see what the allegations are. This is a cult of clowns who project about everything and think they own America and are above the law.

Talk about weaponization of government. The GOP House continues to attempt to interfere in this case for Trump. And that doesn’t seem to concern the people here who vote for them? Like Joe Memphis who constantly ignores this stuff and pretends he never heard about it? This is not within their jurisdiction. They are a federal branch of government and they are supposed to be independent from the executive. Not Trump’s personal team of thugs. But they are running the House as Trump’s mobbed up retribution squad.

The Manhattan DA just put out another statement telling them to back off. Reports say Trump was on the phone last night calling all these clowns and demanding they protect him.
It's just proof that Trump owns the entire GOP, and they dance to his tune. All of them are putting out statements against the USA system of justice.

That includes Glenn and Joe.

In DeSantis' case, he's also still an officeholder. And interstate extradition is required by Article 4, Section 2 of the US Constitution. While the governor couldn't stop Trump's extradition from Florida, he may be able to slow the process if Trump didn't want to surrender voluntarily from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach.
Arrest DeSantis please

This is a real tweet by Lindsey Graham. This isn’t a parody account. He’s lost his fucking mind.

Lindsey Graham

@LindseyGrahamSC
On the way to the DA’s office on Tuesday, Trump should smash some windows, rob a few shops and punch a cop.

He would be released IMMEDIATELY!

Hello Drak, happy indictment day to you and everyone else on this fine day.

I danced in the forest in fresh falling snow last night when I heard about it. I heard about it because family members far and wide called to be sure we got the news. It was kind of like the day Kennedy was killed but celebratory not somber.

Trump wants another January 6th-type attack on the courthouse in New York. If there isn’t, he’ll lose face and it’ll look like he no longer controls enough of his base.

But I don’t think they’ll do much, as going up against the NYPD won’t be like the Capitol Police. It’ll be like running into a buzzsaw in your underwear.

That would be like catching lightning in a bottle twice.
Considering so far there were less than 90 people there out of well over 1000 who have been charged or convicted of a felony the chances of violence is pretty slim.

Plus the New York mayor isn't incompetent like the DC mayor

See this is why we can't have a real conversation about this and so many other topics.
Because you go to the low information talking points.
Because you do not have the ability to have an actual give and take and exchange of ideas.

I am hoping someone actually would like to discuss the indictment. Personally I believe based upon what we know as of today that there is going to be something much harsher than the pay off to the porn star.

Again based on what we know now, I can't stress that point enough the porn star payoff would have to be a misdemeanor not a felony.

If charged with a felony for that crime any objective person would have to say not guilty. Based mostly on a technicality. That being how did he commit the crime to cover up another crime.
When the DOJ did not charge him with a crime after investigating him.

Now on the other hand based upon what we know now that same reasonable person would have to conclude that he is guilty of the misdemeanor.

Personally I cannot believe that Bragg would go through all of this just to charge him with a misdemeanor or to charge him with a felony only to look like a fool when that felony was thrown out of court on appeal.

Which leads me to what I believe to be a logical conclusion that being:
Trump is going to be charged with a serious felony which none of us saw coming.

Kinda hard to discuss the indictment(s), since it’s all under seal. It’s REPORTED there are 34 separate indictments, and it’s beyond just the Stormy Daniels payoff.

That’s why it was funny when you put forward an ‘expert’ that said the Grand Jury had nothing, since he didn’t have a clue WHAT they had, since it’s all secret.

So thanks for admitting your ‘expert’ didn’t see anything coming, and you were, as always, full of shit.

We on the left are about FACTS. We’ll discuss the indictment(s) when we know what they are.

And aside from the indictment being under seal, and we don’t know details, it was handed down by a majority of a grand jury with a reported 34 charges.

In the meantime I guess this entire thread should be closed based on what you just said.
Of course on the other hand some people might believe thus to be a political discussion board where speculation is expected and leads to interesting discussions.

and notice how Joe Memphis ignores this thread. What a shock.

Trump should be left alone!

What crimes?

Trump isn’t responsible for J6. Trump never did anything wrong. He won’t be indicted.

Constantly. All over these boards.

I cannot speculate beyond what I know and we can all be honest - nobody knows what the charges will be until Alvin Bragg unseals them, and I honestly have no inside connection to his office or to anybody on the Grand Jury.

Reliable media outlets are reporting there will be multiple charges, possibly relating to illegal misuse of business funds. Stuff that are felonies and not just misdemeanors. We know the Grand Jury also heard testimony relating to the Karen McDougal case.

What I do know: yeah, this is about more than just Stormy Daniels. I'm pretty sure of that.

I also know Guv DePutin can stop posturing about refusing extradition, as Trump and his lawyers are indicating he will voluntarily go to New York state and face whatever is the music. I bet Trump didn't want to do that, but he finally found a lawyer other than Cousin Vinnie who told him this was the best way not to make things worse for him.

I am not sure if he was asking if there were more votes to be found or was asking votes to be changed or eliminated.

However I do know it is not the job of a county prosecutor to pursue the allegations.

I also know that there is enough coming out of New York and probably out of the special prosecutor that a Georgia county prosecutor is going to wind up helping Trump more than hurting him.

There is a saying that goes stay in your lane. That county prosecutor couldn't be more out of their lane.
