“If you look at the history of the journey of this nation, what becomes clear is this: Given half a chance, the American people have never, ever, ever let their country down,” the Democratic president said. “So let’s get this done. Let’s move.”
Biden called for passage of both his $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and separate legislation to address climate change, expand health coverage, reduce prescription drug costs, increase funding for child care and provide preschool for all 3- and 4-year-olds.
He says he's said the word union seven times more than any other President.

Here's a link to Biden's speech. His let's get it done speech. Once the video loads advance it to 20 minutes to begin when Biden takes the podium:
He says he's said the word union seven times more than any other President.
I've got to laugh. Biden referred to Trump as "the former guy" in his speech. This is from the transcript of his speech:
Look, we haven’t passed the transformation — the transformative infrastructure bill for a decade. Think about this: How many times, under the former guy, did we have — we had “Infrastructure Week”? Not a single thing happened. We need to get this done. White House
I'm sure Trump as well as his Trumphumpers' heads are exploding over this. I expect we'll hear them complaining about how disrespectful Biden is to a former president.

I laughed at the same point.
I thought his ending was strong, that's where I got the second half of this Joe Biden tread title from, from those last few moments. "Let’s get this done."
Not saying the traitor’s name is one of the best things to at once defuse him and make him mad. Kudos to Colbert for the same thing, but funnier, of course. “Cinnamon Hitler,” etc.
Our movement is not a yes organization that just speaks the company line. (It’s an organism, not an organization!) We are disaggregating how this BBB $1.7T addresses or doesn’t address poor and low-wealth ppl.
I watched that Motor City. It was fine, about half way through there was a great takeaway. Barber says, "we must take part of this but never stop fighting."
A compromise is not a surrender.
I liked how they didn't undercut Joe Biden at all. In fact Jealous reinforced the greatest argument for Biden in his comments about the integrity Biden brings to the White House to safe guard how the money which in in the bill will be spent. Trump's friends would surely have absconded with vast tracks of it had Trump been in office when a bill like this was passed.
Here's a direct link to that interview at YouTube so folks can watch this excellent interview an a larger screen:
