Senators Urge WWE Officials To Put Saudi Arabia Events On Pause

Earlier this year WWE presented the Greatest Royal Rumble from Saudi Arabia, and in a few weeks the company is set to return to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.

It was recently reported that Washington Post journalist, and United States resident Jamal Khashoggi had gone missing. Evidence was later presented suggesting that he had been killed, and that the Saudi government may have been involved in the murder.

WWE Crown Jewel: Another U.S. Senator Questions WWE's Decision

The controversy surrounding WWE's decision to move forward with their Crown Jewel event on November 2nd isn't going away anytime soon.

As reported yesterday, the company is still making logistical and technical plans for the show in spite of news this week that journalist Jamal Khashoggi may have been killed by agents of the Saudi government after a kidnapping plot went bad.
