Rudy making a deal?

Post by gounion »

Well, HELL YEAH! Of COURSE he is. https://www.rawstory.com/rudy-giuliani-2661999820/
To hear his spokesman tell it, Rudy Giuliani met with Department of Justice investigators for an interview by his own accord.

“The appearance was entirely voluntary and conducted in a professional manner,” Giuliani spokesman Ted Goodman said in a statement.

But what exactly does that mean?

MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace posed that question to legal expert Harry Litman Tuesday.

"What does it mean that his folks are saying he went in 'entirely voluntarily,'” she asked Litman during an appearance on “Deadline: White House with Nicole Wallace.”

The former federal prosecutor urged viewers not to take the statement at face value.

“I think it’s dissembling at best,” Litman said.

“Giuliani is waist deep in everything after the election, but he is neck deep in the false electors."

“He and Trump together badger (former Arizona House Speaker) Rusty Bowers. He goes down to Georgia and tells a whole pack of lies and he is exactly where Smith is otherwise in the investigation, talking to (Georgia Secretary of State Brad) Raffensperger and the like.”

“Here's what it means,” Litman said. “(Giuliani) has gone in with a proffer. That means he has given information but under circumstances where they won't hold it against him. They'll just evaluate whether they want him, want him for what, and give him immunity or an easy deal.

“And then what he is giving in exchange has to be information about Donald Trump.”

But Litman acknowledged that calling Giuliani’s cooperation “voluntary” isn’t technically false.

“So this proffer, yes, he didn't doesn't have to do it. You could call it voluntary in that way, but don't think that he's like a good citizen just finally getting this off his chest. He's trying to cut a deal and he knows the time is very short.”
Hell yeah he should throw Donald under the bus. Donald not only refused to give Rudy a pardon or pay him for services, he tossed him aside like yesterday's rubbish.

Do you think at this point Rudy is capable of making any coherent statements about Trump or anything else.
No that isn't a defense of Trump. It is an observation of Rudy

I’m sure if Rudy says anything against Trump you will disbelieve him. But I’m betting that Rudy has the receipts.

You certainly believe Rudy when he says Biden took bribes from the Ukraine. Rudy is where all that comes from.

So why do you believe all the shit he said about Joe Biden taking bribes? That all came from Rudy.

So, you just won’t believe what he says about Trump, but you’ll believe what he says about Biden.

I’m not surprised.

O
I haven't commented on anything Rudy has said about Biden.
As for Biden taking bribes there are many more sources than Rudy
So now you believe what Rudy has said about Biden
Or do you only believe the things he says about Trump

No, there aren’t any more sources than Rudy. He’s the one that made the report to the Feds. https://oversightdemocrats.house.gov/ne ... ng-bribery

There are no tapes. Rudy made it all up about Biden.

As far as Trump and the coup attempt, the fake electors, and the strong-armed attempts to force the GA Governor and election officers to rig the vote after the fact in Georgia, Rudy was the lead for Trump on all of that. So we should certainly hear what he has to say on these things. I mean, he was the one at the press conferences with hair dye running down his face.

I forgot to ad that I do not believe president Biden to be guilty. But I do believe we need a more credible investigation.
And
I am truly surprised you now believe the things Rudy (who you have deemed credible) have accused President Biden of doing.
