It shouldn't be a purity test where a person has to support 100pct of what you support.
Again you and I agree on a majority on this issue but not 100pct. Therefore according to you I am more no different than a radical maga Trump supporter.
Glenn, is it simply impossible for you to have ANY sympathy or understanding whatsoever?
This and the Pulse shooting ARE TRUE TERRORIST ATTACKS. Not the bullshit Keri Lake threw up and you had so much outrage over.
Yet you say nothing about this attack. You don't seem to give a shit at all when someone goes in and attacks gay and trans people. You need to look at yourself and ask why, but I don't hold much hope for you to actually do that.
I've had many gay friends through my life. They are good and decent people, just trying to live their genuine lives. But the people you vote for and the right-wing media have them under constant attack. You don't give a shit about these people who went through this attack, but you are sure as hell concerned about trans people being allowed to be sports - when you don't give a shit for women's sports.
That's a huge issue to you. Why? I'll tell you why. Because you think it's a good wedge issue to use politically to attack trans people, whom, no matter WHAT you say - you don't support, and we both know it.
Libertas and Carmen are hurting right now, as every decent human being should be hurting over this senseless violence, and they are lashing out. Instead of having an OUNCE of human decency, you're just using this, as always, to try to score political points.
No, not everyone on the right wants to see this happen, but when it does, you stand aside and say nothing. And the next night Tucker Carlson is on the air, attacking trans people like he does every night, ratcheting up the hatred, and ensuring it happens again.
And again, you stand quiet. Where you're concerned, Martin Niemöller spoke in vain.
