How could they tell?

Quote:
Beer drinkers in three U.S. states filed lawsuits accusing brewing giant Anheuser-Busch of watering down and mislabeling Budweiser, Michelob and other brands to cut costs.

The lawsuits, filed in the last week in California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, said the brewing giant cheated consumers by listing a higher alcohol content than the beers actually contained.

Ten Anheuser-Busch products were named in the lawsuits: Budweiser, Michelob, Michelob Ultra, Bud Ice, Bud Light Platinum, Hurricane High Gravity Lager, King Cobra, Busch Ice, Natural Ice and Bud Light Lime.

Former employees at the company’s 13 breweries -- including some in high-level positions -- are cooperating with the plaintiffs, said San Rafael, Calif., lawyer Josh Boxer, the lead attorney in the case.

Overheard at a brewery somewhere in St. Louis, "My God man! I have watered the beer down as far as she'll go! I canna water no more!"

Hey, I still like a budweiser now and then.

I tend to go for more hoppy stuff like Sam Adams or Red Hook ESB (my all time favorite). But on a real hot summer day, I can just about guzzle a near frozen can of Bud,

Sam Adams is really good. Yuengling was a fave of mine before I quit drinking beer except on special occasions.

Yeah, Coors and Bud aren't all that bad and I'll willingly drink both. There's worse stuff out there - mainly just about anything that has Milwaukee in its name. I'm lately more into the local/regional beers, like Schlafly, Backpocket, or New Glarus. My mom and my brother lately have been drinking Leinenkugel.
