Covid Anyone

Post by Glennfs »

Not looking for sympathy and don't have time tonight for back and forth.
But for anyone who thinks covid is over my oldest daughter who works at a hospital and her 6 year old son have covid.
Her husband and 4 year old tested negative. Grandson has no symptoms daughter has congestion but not that serious because she has had all the shots and updates.
This is my grandson that has birth defects. One kidney doesn't work and the other is ok but not 100pct. At some point 15 to 30 years from now will probably need a transplant

Sorry to hear about them having COVID. Hope you don’t get it.

Out of curiosity, are they vaccinated?

You?

It swept through my family a month or so ago. My son contacted it first. He went down for 4 days. Body aches, a bit of congestion, with a slightly elevated fever.
My wife was next. Slight sniffles and for safety sake tested. Positive. She spent the next week going stir crazy with with what amounted to nothing but a head cold.
i had a week long bout with the worst diarrhea i've ever had in my life but kept testing negative. Still can't decide if it was covid or a bad Arbey's roast beef samich.

Yea a lot of corner cutting in food preparation and manufacturing due to the ongoing stubbornness and greed due to employment practices seems like there's always multiple food items being recalled fer uh causing sickness. stay safe keep away from the covid..

Sorry to hear about your daughter and her family having COVID. Hopefully, since she works in a hospital she and her family were vaccinated so the symptoms will be mild. My sister and her husband tested positive in May, both were fully vaccinated, and received the monoclonal antibodies. They self-isolated for 10-days and then tested negative. They had two sets of friends visiting two different weeks and they think that's how they caught it.

As I've said before, I don't wish COVID-19 on anyone.

First on the list when they come out. She works with cancer and transplant patients so it is a must

No thanks. I won't have what you're offering. :D

What? Was this a no joke zone?

Hope everyone comes out OK. One of my brother's friends just got it and he had been staying at his house ... so far, he's tested negative.

They now have a conundrum. Last night an air conditioner condenser in their attack leaking and caused part of the ceiling in the kitchen to come down. So there they are needing repairs with two people in the house having covid. For the record I am going to have fun teasing them about it.
