I enjoyed seeing this headline, Sanders thanks Rodman for being ‘helpful’ in North Korea. I enjoy the confusion, I know that headline refers to Sarah Huckabee Sanders, but many people just glance at headlines and it leaves a glancing impression.

Sanders say's this, Sanders say's that, "Sanders say's" is in fifty headlines a week.

Love it! :D

Sanders works for the Kremlin

By the time this becomes known it will be too late.

Bernie Sanders And Kamala Harris Targeted With Murder Threats, Court Filings Allege

Senators Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris, two prospective contenders for the Democratic nomination for president in 2020, were the targets of murder threats in March, according to a grand jury indictment revealed publicly Wednesday. Those taking part in the gun-control rally March for Our Lives on March 24 were also allegedly the target of threats.

Nicholas Bukoski was indicted by a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., this April, but the filing was held under seal until last week, as first reported by Politico. Bukoski has been charged with two counts of threatening to assault or murder United States officials and three counts of transmitting threats in interstate commerce.

Yes, death threats are unfortunately common in politics. If Senator Sanders were elected president, I'm sure in my heart that an assassination [inside] attempt would have been exercised. Probably successful. I feel some relief that he was denied his run for that office by the Clinton-DWS DNC.

I see that the usual suspects have still been at play. For some, it may take years into their golden years to outgrow, [if ever], although I have grown somewhat accustom to this behavior. Their lies do become ridiculous at times, but so have the many lies by Mr Trump. It's all elementary, my dear Watson. :D

A terrific congratulations goes out to one of Senator Sanders's 2016 campaign workers, Ms Ocasio-Cortez, for her win last night! Very impressive!!! A political movement is still in progress. Out of everything that is wrong with our modern day politics, I'm extremely glad to sense a possible huge change coming about in the near future.

2018 primaries: Key takeaways as Democrats get a shock

Herb Jackson, USA TODAY Published 12:01 a.m. ET June 27, 2018 | Updated 10:00 a.m. ET June 27, 2018

She raised $300,000 to her opponent's $3.3 million, but it was enough for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's first run for office in a New York City district covering parts of Queens and the Bronx to defeat 10-term Rep. Joe Crowley and send shock waves through the House Democratic caucus.

The Bronx-born Ocasio-Cortez, 28, was the first primary challenger Crowley had faced in 14 years. Her win comes as Democratic primaries around the country have seen scraps between the party's progressive wing and the Washington establishment.

“We meet a machine with a movement, and that is what we have done today,” Ocasio-Cortez said Tuesday night, according to The Associated Press. “Working-class Americans want a clear champion and there is nothing radical about moral clarity in 2018.”

"A new political era is dawningand the rusting and reluctant political establishment will wake up or be woken," Levin said.

This is great, hope she wins.

What's interesting to me is the collective response of Bernieville, which seems to be a lot more about getting back at the Dems and teaching us those infamous lessons than about this person actually winning her election.

I apologize to the few Sanders Progressive viewers here for not also including another impressive primary win this past week by Mr Ben Jealous. We know how politically close Mr Jealous and the Senator are, in which if Mr Jealous were to pull off a difficult win against Maryland's Republican Governor, this would also be extremely huge for the movement.

Washington (CNN)Ben Jealous, a former NAACP leader endorsed by Bernie Sanders, moved a step closer to becoming the next governor of Maryland by winning the Democratic primary in the state governor's race.

After prevailing in a crowded primary field, Jealous is now set to face off against Maryland's popular Republican Gov. Larry Hogan in the November general election. If he wins, Jealous would become Maryland's first African-American governor.

Jealous has embraced progressive policy ides while campaigning, like implementing a Medicare-For-All universal health care system in the state and legalizing marijuana.

Sanders celebrated the primary win on Tuesday, saying in a statement that "there are few progressives stronger than Ben" and arguing that the outcome of the race "showed that running a progressive, issue-oriented campaign can bring all working people together." Jealous, for his part, also endorsed Sanders during his 2016 presidential run.

The people of Maryland understand that we can most effectively oppose Donald Trump's extremism with strong progressive leadership at the state and local level -- and there are few progressives stronger than @BenJealous.

If this guy has ever had the foresight to wonder why he's not really trusted or taken seriously around here, he should reread his post.

"Bernie Sanders" had nothing to do with Ben Jealous's success in the Maryland governor's race, yet the Faithful Flock contributes to making Sanders look like he's coattailing. So weird.

Ben Jealous was -- rather famously -- the head of the national NAACP. That's what he's known for and where his policy positions and experience comes from.

Nice try, though, Bernieville...

It sounds like you want to apologize to people who're not here.

Ben Jealous did it on his own. Maybe you ought to apologize to him for trying to steal his thunder, for Sanders sake. :|

Majority Of Democrats Want Candidates To Be More Like Bernie Sanders, Poll Finds

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders might have lost his 2016 bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, but he certainly won a number of supporters along the way.

To wit: A new poll released Wednesday by YouGov showed that a majority of Democrats want candidates in 2018 to be more like the independent, Democratic Socialist candidate.

More democrats want a candidate who went out of his way to hinder the Hillary campaign? sigh

In that case, i will get my popcorn and stop trying so hard, what is the fucking point.

But I dont really believe that so fuck that. Do most people want tuition free education and healthcare, of course, do they want Bernie Sanders, no.

and it is being pushed here and at DU and elsewhere...it is all part of the orchestrated KGB operation to fuck over the Democrats..which according to Nance will include flipping R votes to D votes in safe D districts leaving a trail behind making it look like DNC did it to spark a protest against the validity of D wins.

I feel lonely in the camp who knows Bernie is part of that plan, either working directly for Putin and has been for a very long time, or their interests align so that so the results are the same.

There are some of us who KNOW this but not enough to make enough noise to drown out his actions.

there were 94 million people that didn't vote in the last presidential election, not all of that was voluntary or by choice, but maybe this idea to not give people something to vote for or be excited to vote for is a bad one.

AOC (undercover agent) is now alleging Crowley is running a 3rd party candidacy against her, which as far as anyone can tell he is not.

now this

sigh

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/alexandria ... -democrat/

Quote:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the 28-year old former waitress who shocked Democratic Party politics by defeating Rep. Joe Crowley, D-New York, in a primary last month, is deploying members of her growing campaign staff to help another liberal upstart seeking to unseat a longtime Democratic incumbent.

Ocasio-Cortez this week decided to send at least three paid campaign staffers to Delaware to help Kerri Evelyn Harris, an Air Force veteran and community activist who is challenging three-term Sen. Thomas R. Carper, D-Delaware, in a Sept. 6 primary. Aides to Ocasio-Cortez and Harris shared the details first with CBS News.

Harris, a political novice based in Dover, Delaware, began her campaign in February, seeking to run to the senator's left. She is only the second Democrat to challenge Carper since he joined the U.S. Senate in 2000.

Bernie Sanders is hosting a town hall for workers. Their CEOs are invited.

Quote:
Sen. Bernie Sanders is inviting the corporate bosses of four major American companies to face their employees during a livestreamed town hall event in Washington on July 16.

"I really hope (the CEOs) have the guts to sit on a panel with their own employees and explain why it's acceptable that they receive huge compensation packages while their very own workers are struggling to put food on the table," Sanders said in an interview. "I hope they have the courage to do so. The invitation is sincere."
Letters addressed to Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Doug McMillon of Walmart, Steve Easterbrook of McDonald's and Disney's Bob Iger will be sent on Thursday.
"My staff and I have spoken with Disney workers who are hungry, homeless, or struggling to make ends meet," Sanders writes to Iger in one of the invites. He then quotes an employee who says, "I currently don't make enough to eat three times a day. I eat cans of tuna or celery sticks and carrots because that's what I can afford."
Each letter contains similar, often harrowing testimonials from employees woven in with admonitions from Sanders over the massive disparity between worker pay and executive compensation...............
