This is the conservative way of arguing. Whatever you're guilty of, accuse your opponent of.
But hey the reason Trump never released his taxes was that he was under audit, right, and he'd release them as soon as it was over, right?

This isn't about Trump's lies it us about Biden’s lies.

What’s hilarious about this thread aside from being from the Murdoch NY Post, is that Republicans live under one giant blanket of lies. It’s all they do. And their leader lies like he breaths and farts. But Glennfs doesn’t care. These people attempted a coup. And are trying to lie it away.

At least you are honest enough you don't have the balls to look at anything which paints your party or any of your glorious leaders in an honest light

Tough. Cry more. Trump is the leader of your party who attempted to overthrow the government. You don’t care. You vote for and give cover to seditionists and traitors. No one cares about your stupid bullshit “look over there” threads on Biden.

"One lie at a time" is a pretty good description of the NY Post. Remember they're the same people who said everyone was openly selling weed on every street in Manhattan.
No, they're not.
Quote a REPUTABLE source and I might bother to waste time reading Republican cherry picked facts. Maybe.

Sigh.
I got as far as the gasoline price bullshit.
Gas is about $2.70 in NE Ohio.
I don’t give a fuck how much diesel is. You want to drive a truck, you pay whatever the fuck they want to charge you.
Now, a more important question is this:
Why did Trump sign off on allowing oil companies to sell U.S. crude and also refined product on the open market? We. Are. Exporting. Crude. And. Refined. Products.
Shut the fuck up.
Oh, Glen, I forgot. There is no such thing as Bidenflation since inflation is worldwide. Please actually make an attempt to understand something before popping off.

Are you saying that US economic or monetary policy has no effect on inflation? I mean the USD is the worlds common currency. The US economy is the largest economy in the world. I might buy your argument if we were Portugal or Norway. But we aren’t. So do we have power and influence worldwide or not? Is the US President one of the most powerful and influential world leaders or not? Or are we Norway?
What we do in this country has ripple effects. To think or say otherwise is ignoring the obvious.

Re: The year in review
Didn't say he was powerless. But don't you think the problem was the disruption of the worldwide economy because of the pandemic?JoeMemphis wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 6:38 pm I didn’t say that. But then again, I’m not the one running around claiming that the most powerful man in the free world is powerless to do anything about inflation.
I mean, while the oil prices are set worldwide, Biden DID release oil from our reserves to increase the supply and drive prices down.
At least we have an adult in charge of things, that is working to bring things down.
All you guys know to do is to cut taxes for the rich. You don't ever have any other solutions.
Re: The year in review
And has been. Guess you haven't been paying attention. Then you vote for people who claimed they were going to help fight inflation with no plan, then stated their top priority was to invest Hunter Biden and file articles of impeachment.JoeMemphis wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 6:38 pm I didn’t say that. Oil prices are a function of supply and demand. Can we produce more domestically? Would that affect the supply and therefore the price?
As far as the pandemic, we idled businesses and workers for months and years. A policy the current President supported along with many members of this board. So to suggest that policy had nothing to do with aggravating the inflation problem is ignoring the obvious.
So bottomline, the US government and their leadership has a great deal of influence on the global economy and inflation. To pretend that it’s outside of their influence and control is fantasy. So neither the former President or the current President gets a pass. He wanted the job. He has to accept the responsibility. If things go well he gets the credit. If things don’t go well, he gets the blame. That’s where the buck stops as they say.

This is a message board. You can reply to anyone. Suck it up, Buttercup.
There's a lot more that we could produce domestically, since the oil companies have lots of leases they haven't touched. But if they start drilling lots more, than later there will be an oversupply, and they don't want that.Oil prices are a function of supply and demand. Can we produce more domestically? Well, they also idled themselves. The fact is, it happened around the world. That was the policy EVERYWHERE. That's not our government's fault. They did their best in an unprecedented situation. As far as the pandemic, we idled businesses and workers for months and years. No, you just want to blame. it's all you guys have. You wanted the GOP to be in charge, and you got your wish with the House. So you need to take responsiblity for what they do in January. You wanted the Dems in charge. You got that. And yet you do everything but take ownership and responsibility. This thread is a perfect example. It’s all someone else’s fault. It’s out of our control. We can’t do anything about it. It’s a global problem. Blah blah blah.gounion wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 7:34 pm This is a message board. You can reply to anyone. Suck it up, Buttercup.

You ain’t nothing if not a hypocrite. You don’t get to lecture anyone on taking responsibility for anything.
