Those of us following along were posting about it weeks before it went down. They were told to show up and fight for Trump. They brought weapons, ladders, etc. They knew which areas to breach. Trump stood and watched from a tent. He didn't stop it. 140 police officers were seriously injured. We know that they were working behind the scenes to overturn the election since Biden was declared winner, from within the DOJ as well as via through lawyers compiling things like coup memos. GOP House members were calling in their 1776. That's only the tip of it. To deny this is ridiculous. Stop defending it. Anyone defending this is nothing but a Good German and complicit in the attempted destruction of American Democracy.

Have you studied any actual history? You do know that coup attempts often fail right? Did you actually go to school? What are you talking about? You're not following along or you're just talking out your ass and lying.

They didn't just break into the Capital and run around. Have you actually watched videos? There WERE LEADERS THERE. Mike Flynn was there. Roger Stone was there. Alex Jones was there. There were military people there. Oath keepers and Oath keeper leader ship was there. TRUMP WAS THERE. Someone planted bombs. The organization had been going on since November. Domestic terrorists KNEW exactly where to go once inside the building. They even knew where Clyburn's unmarked office was. There were weapons there. When video links are working we need to start posting the evidence again because people weren't just touring around. It was an violent event with a purpose. Yes I read the article before it was posted here. Unless I missed something the guy did not promise pardons. But, he did infer pardons. When he said he had just come from a meeting about pardons.
Which as any reasonable person would know is tantamount to promising.
But, legally probably not, which is why I believe legally he has deniability.

If he inferred pardons to others to convince them to riot at the Capitol then that in itself is an illegal act. It could improve a case of conspiracy against him.

Trump is suing to to keep those records hidden. Thing innocent people do. The GOP house and Senate voted against a bipartisan commission to investigate. The GOP House is attempting to stop the release of phone and text messages from that day. You know, things innocent people do. Etc.
