No rage at all. A comparison to what the kkk allegedly did 100 years ago simply isn't relevant.

It certainly IS relevant, when Trump is using their playbook line for line.
Like calling a woman that accuses him of abuse is a liar, a slut and a golddigger.
Like YOU call them.
Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
I have never called them that you are again lying.
So tell me your opinion of those who accused Bill Clinton

Remember, it's become fashionable to ignore federal judges or even SCOTUS.A federal judge on Wednesday ordered Texas to remove by Sept. 15 the floating border buoys it had placed along its river border with Mexico to deter migrants from crossing.
Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
Yes, ignoring federal law is what got us here in the first place. Sanctuary cities and states ignore federal law. I don’t recall anyone on the board objecting. So since we are already headed down that road, should we be surprised that some states also ignore the federal laws they don’t like. Good for the goose. Good for the gander.Toonces wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 6:20 pm https://www.politico.com/news/2023/09/0 ... 20crossing.

So, because someone ignored the law, everyone on your side should.JoeMemphis wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 6:39 pm Yes, ignoring federal law is what got us here in the first place. This is why we know you’re a Trumper. You WANT to bring our entire government down, you gutless worm.
Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
Except this is actively defying federal law whereas sanctuary cities fail to put resources into applying the law. What sanctuary cities do is not a violation of the law. Ignoring an order to act here, would be a violation of the law.JoeMemphis wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 6:39 pm Yes, ignoring federal law is what got us here in the first place. Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
Failing to enforce laws you have taken an oath to enforce is actively defying federal law. Period.
Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
And it’s what you espouse. You want to destroy a nation built upon rule of law. You are quite the Trumper.JoeMemphis wrote: ↑Wed Sep 06, 2023 8:53 pm Failing to enforce laws you have taken an oath to enforce is actively defying federal law. Period.

Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
We can mince words all day if you like. If you think folks on the left can ignore the law or their legal responsibilities when they feel like it and it won’t get noticed by those on the right, that’s up to you. It has become fashionable to ignore federal law without consequence. It started with drug laws and immigration law. No one here objected.
But now, they want states to do what they are told under federal law. All I’m saying is that ignoring the law in the past erodes respect for federal law. You don’t have to agree Toonces. It’s just my opinion. But my guess is that Texas will ignore the order and appeal. So what is the Federal Government going to do? My guess is that it will be all talk. We will see.

OK. Words. Less Mincy.
sanctuary cities, ignoring a federal order
One action is legal, one action is not.

So a city could become a sanctuary city for any crime or any criminal or group of criminals if they chose to do so ?ProfX wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 7:27 am Do sanctuary cities violate the law?

Re: Abbott must be arrested for murder and NOW
You links acknowledge that what is happening is that cities and states actively ignore the law. Now maybe it’s just me but I think cities and states and their elected officials actively disregarding their oath of office and ignoring federal law weakens the ability of Federal Law Enforcement. I have said this for years. Now we are seeing other states ignoring Federal orders. Toonces says there is a difference. Maybe there are some technical differences but the end result is the same. It should come as no surprise.ProfX wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2023 7:27 am Do sanctuary cities violate the law?
