Carter Hart, Dillon Dube, Callan Foote, Michael McLeod and Alex Formenton have been found not guilty by Justice Maria Carroccia in London, Ontario, according to reporting from The Athletic, after being charged in connection with an alleged sexual assault involving the 2018 Canadian men’s national junior team.

Carroccia said that she did not find E.M.’s [the alleged victim] evidence “credible or reliable,” in explaining her reasoning.

Famed retired money manager Howard Rubin was arrested Friday morning on charges of sex trafficking and transporting women across state lines for commercial sex acts over the course of a decade, according to a new indictment.

Rubin participated in sex acts with the women in luxury hotels, and later, a rented penthouse apartment in Manhattan that was converted into a so-called “sex dungeon” outfitted with bondage, discipline, dominance, submission and sadomasochism equipment, authorities said.

Robert Morris, founding pastor of Gateway Church — a Texas-based megachurch with one of the largest congregations in the country — pleaded guilty Thursday to charges of indecent conduct with a child. The charges stem from an investigation into allegations that he sexually abused a young girl in Oklahoma more than 40 years ago.

The plea was entered during a scheduled hearing in Osage County. Afterwards, Morris was sentenced to 10 years in prison, with all but six months suspended. He will serve his time in Osage County and then be placed on probation for nine and a half years in Texas and is required to register as a sex offender.
