You don't have to have watched Breaking Bad to know, it can be made here, and is easily, from legal precursor chemicals.

I'm not disputing this stuff comes across the Mexican border. In the case of fentanyl, the source product is coming from China, then made into fentanyl in Mexico. In the case of meth ... unfortunately, it can be made anywhere, including trailers all over the land.

The crazy thing about fentanyl is that it's too strong it's used in too many street drugs and back in the day we never had to worry about a drug being too good or too strong or extra drugs being added to our drug haha.

Fentanyl is a Schedule II drug. What that means, BTW, is in its "street" form, as a recreational drug, it's illegal. The source of the street sh*t is China ultimately, they just are using Mexico as a way station to get it into the U.S.

It still has authorized medical uses and you can have a prescription for it. (In that case it's legal.) Very unusual these days.
